thats what i read too. awfulYeah apparently the Joker role and filming of the movie made him suffer from insomnia and he slept about 2 hours a night. He died from a sleeping pill overdose. I dont know, you do the math.
But this is awful, he was a really good actor and was getting better with each performance.
What a shame.
Rest in Peace.
Really, really sad. I was completely shocked to hear this, and apparently he finished his work in The Dark Knight.
It's just a real shame.
R.I.P.
yeah i imagine the batman movie is done. thats messed up that he suffered from imsominia.
was there any other roles that Heath was planning to do?? usually have a 2 or 3 picture deal lined up.
RIP
^^^It would be pretty fucked up if this is one of the causes of his death.
How is this "sad" or "RIP"?
Fuck him he overdosed. Intentionally or not he is obviously an idiot.
He had it made and through it all away. He won't get ym sympathy.
PS. Read how he might have died due to sleep deprivation from making the movie and subsequently taking sleeping pills. Still makes him an idiot but not a complete one if its true.
my best guess would be that the film industry and any company affiliated with it would probably deny any and all responsibility for how closely attatched an actor gets to his role. if you need to take a month out of your life and lock yourself in to do a good job, do that. if it kills you, too bad for you. maybe you didn't have the stuff but tried anyway. it's not like he had to do all that stuff, he could have done a mediocre job, but then he wouldn't have gotten it. so he took a risk in order to secure a job and it went bad on him.To me this whole situation has an eriee resemblance to Brandon Lee's death.
I wonder how the film industry will react in regards to working conditions for actors on films like this.
