Film & TV Horror film fans: help!

#1
so i don't know how many true horror fans we have on this site, and i'm talking old-school 80's slasher fans, but i'm hoping we have some in the know because i need a little help. i'm looking to find any place that i can download the infamous workprint for Friday The 13th VII: The New Blood. this movie was chopped to shit by the censors, which is a shame since this is one of the better installments in the series imo. the workprint, while the quality isn't very good being from a VHS copy of it, contains all the uncut death scenes and an alternate extended ending. i've been trying to find it for a while now but have been unsuccessful in locating a link. i do know it's out there online somewhere because i have seen forums where people are discussing having dl'ed it, but no one on those sites seems to want to help me find it. any help would be appreciated, and of course reps will be forthcoming :D

edit: for those interested in seeing the uncut kills, here's a youtube vid taken from the bonus features of the Crystal Lake To Manhattan box set, with commentary by director John Carl Buechler and Kane Hodder.

Seriously, It'll be difficult finding that footage, there's pentions to get it released, but it probably won't happen and as you can see the quality is shit.

I used to see it around like 2-3 years back but i haven't seen it around lately. Even the site where i bought The Crow workprint doesn't have it. They have workprints for some of the other Friday's but not this one. Hmm i'll keep looking around and i'll let ya know wat i find. I used to have a bootleg vhs of this one too but fuck if i know wat the hell happened to it. I probably threw it out when i moved into my pad.

I have all the F13 movies on DVD, I didn't know there was a boxset though. Would be cool to see this workprint.

yeah the box set came out a couple years ago, but it disappointed fans because none of them were uncut versions, even tho some, like the first, are available uncut on DVD in Europe. if the workprint from VII is all that is left, then obviously there will never be an uncut DVD, but the word is that Paramount does have the footage, they just don't want to release it. remember, because of how graphic these movies are, there are always a lot of cuts, and a lot of unused footage that is out there. here's hoping the suits at Paramount will one day pull their heads out of their asses and give the Jason fans what they want. well thanks for trying to help guys, my search continues...

just to note for anyone interested in the box set, it only contains parts 1 thru 8, since the rest were made after they sold the rights to New Line. so you'd have to get those separately.

edit: DP, which site is this you're talking about? i'd like to check it out, see what they have there.

Lol I just played Nightmare on Elm Street, it did look pretty bad. Friday the 13th is hardcore (like all NES games). Game over without actually dying. Can someone explain to me what you can do about the kids dying? :(

that site's got some pretty good stuff, although some of them aren't the true workprint, just the normal movie with the workprint footage spliced in, as in F13 VI: Jason Lives. still cool tho, and not overpriced either, i might have to get some of this stuff.
Yea i got The Crow workprint from there and i have been meaning to get a few others like the original Spider Man movies from them. Im still lookin for The Crow City Of Angels workprint or pay per view version if anybody knows where i can find it! I've been lookin for it for going on 2 years now.
