After the South became big and all this garbage came out of it i am actually starting to Appreciate Nelly.

Looking back he was pretty decent.

I was a fan of his Debut album but after that i kinda lost interest when he didnt live up to the first album but i'd take him over most of these new mainstream southern rappers any dya.

i fucking HATED the country vibe. it so didn't do it for me. some songs were cool though. come to think of it, i'm gonna download his albums and go through them again some time. i haven't listened for years either cause i never really liked his shit.

i remember that single with that chick from destiny's child. that one was really sappy i remember.

I agree I was a huge fan of Country Grammar when it first came out, I think i listened to Batter Up non stop for 2 weeks straight.... After that though my taste for his music depreciated quite a bit, I can't think of a song off his last 2 albums that i listened to more than once...

But compared to todays southern rap I definitely agree with Nelly being more talented than a vast majority of the mainstream rappers/trappers out there right now

You know you are 100% right. I remember the first time i ever heard him. I was on my way back from NY and it was the eo song. I really never liked him other then that song but now looking back he was great in comparison to the others... Sad really...

Country Grammar is an awesome album. It's my guilty pleasure.

But I think that you are completely right...

We insulted him too much... If I knew what was coming (Souljah Boi, Hurricane Chris, etc.), I'd be his #1 fan... lol.. #1... that was a good song too.

I dressed up as nelly for a work fancy dress party. Imagine a white guy with lots of fake tan and a plaster on his face lol

I've always digged Nelly though. I bumped his albums back to back the other day in fact.
