I love that track. It's definately my favorite off new Wu-tang album and I can sense that it's gonna be a classic.
It's a funny conversion - from "Wu ain't nothin to fuck wit" to "heart gently weeps".

But I found something strange.
The retail version sounds different than the version I had on bootlegs before.
the version I'm talking about is this:
the beat is totally different, Raekwon's and Ghost's verses and Erykah's chorus sound different. What's up?

RZA about the track:

yea i know. i noticed this too from the version loud.com released to the version on the official retail album of 8 Diagrams. Like someone said in the other post that the producer (RZA) would normally produce a beat, and give it to the artist to rap on. Then once that is done, the producer puts the finishing touches on it.

and ive noticed this with "Thug World" on the 8 Diagrams mixtape in comparison with "Unpredictable" on 8 Diagrams. extra beats are added.

Yea i noticed that have u heard the Ghostface song Black Cream that samples the same Beatles song. It came out a few years ago.
I just listened to it again and found that it's really similar to Ghost's verse on Wu's new album.

The track Black Cream is free on J-love's Hidden Darts part. 3 mixtape if anybody wonders.

I wonder why it's so quiet about this album here.
The first single is really classic - a beautiful hip-hop song which is rare these days.
And the whole album is really good, not perfect but there are great tracks on it. Something I could expect from wu - a great job done.

whats the first single off the album again? i forgot. some people say its "the heart gently weeps", but meth said it was "watch your mouth" (which has actually been removed from the album). so does that still count as a single then?

anyway, i hope they make a music video because i need to see more wu on mtv and kiss (on the music channels).

I don't think there is anything boring about this album at all, production wise at least. It's pretty incredible once you digest it all

Yeah beats are really great. It's not a typical street Wu album but I always thought that they don't make enough songs like those we get on 8 diagrams so it's really good. Comparing to Wu-tang forever this album is worse but when I think about 36 chambers.. I think 8 diagrams > 36 chambers now.
36 was a classic back then but now when I listen to it I think it's not that special. 8 diagrams goes way more sentimental. It's more melodic - that's what I really enjoy in music.
