Film & TV Aliens Vs. Predator 2: The first 5 minutes

#7
Here's a couple.

-The face hugger implants the Alien into homever they grab onto. Well in the AVP series in takes like 5 minutes for a chest burster to pop out, when in the Alien movies seperately it took days.

-Also according to the Alien movies the Aliens themselves had never been to earth, at any point, before Alien 1. But in AVP they're already there, with face huggers ready to grab onto people.

I hope AVP 2 is the shit. But I'm sure it'll continue to make no sense to the respected franchises, none the less.

Damn this is going to be tight as fuck. They even got the kid!!! This has to be Rated R.
It is Rated R. Thats why the first one sucked so much because they went for the PG-13 rating. For this one the director said he wanted a real actual AvP movie and didn't care if he an R rating. I been waiting for this movie ever since i saw the teaser almost a year ago.

Thats true. But they way I always explained it is that the face huggers and Aliens in general in the AVP movie and this sequel are planted there by the Predators for their hunt. So I just assume they are genetically engineered, or a slightly different species, designed to make the hunt more exciting and challenging for the Predators.

Well, the Aliens themselves have never been to Earth, the Predators brought them, and maybe no one will know because I assume the threat will be contained. In Alien, the Aliens have never come to Earth, that we know of.

Hasnt really been a year already has it? I follow the developments of this movie pretty close.

And yes, it is a HARD R, and those first 5 mins have been edited to remove some gore, and the music isnt final they are just using the music from the original Predator and Alien movies for the time being.

Ok, but what purpose does it serve to have the enemy develop and kill you faster? Also another gripe I have with the first AVP was the ammount of Predators versus the Aliens. It was bullshit. I also remember the surviving chick sticking her arm in the Alien head and using it as a shield, umm.... I'm pretty sure her arm woulda got burnt off.

The predator ripped off the top part of the Aliens head, the top skull, and cleaned it off with something on his arm that looked like steam or something, washing the acidic blood off.

As for what purpose does it serve to have the enemy develop faster, the Aliens are not the Predator's enemy, they are the challenge and the prey. The Predators breed them and release them simply for the challenge, and if you read about Predator mythology, they are all about the challenge and the hunt.

If you remember in the original Predator movie, the Predator wouldn't kill people that were unarmed because it served no challenge, and then when it could have easily taken Arnold out it decided to take its armor off and fight him one on one with no technological advantages, even though it made it easier to kill.
