It's been said but can't hurt to say it again: Stretch was dope. I pretty much love every verse he's done and he was a great producer. He had that real grimey New York sound and excellent fucking drums.

I wish 2Pac had worked with Stretch the way he worked with Johnny J.

Stretch was sick for sure. His flow and production was on point. Did he produce "Pain"? I'm pretty sure he did which makes him a fucking dope ass producer.

I don't get what you mean by that last comment - that you wish they had recorded more together?

Stretch was indeed dope, but Majesty is dope too. He sounds somewhat similar to Stretch in my opinion, although you can tell the difference clearly. I also think Majesty was a little bit involved with the production side of things as a lot of Pac's tracks give production credits to the Live Squad in full, not just Stretch.

As for them working together, they basically did work like Pac and JJ. They maybe didn't have 150 unreleased songs together before all the shit that was released after Pac's death, but if I said 60-80 I don't think that's too far-fetched. The majority of the originals to the Loyal to the Game album were produced by either Big D or Stretch.

Do you have their CD/DVD? I'm gonna buy that some time soon, I've been meaning to for ages. I'll hook it up for you if you need when I get it.

He did. What I'm wondering is did he produce the original version to "Life's So Hard" because it could sound like a Stretch beat and I was told he did produce it some time way back, but I was under the impression that that song was recorded on Death Row. Could be he re-recorded it on Death Row.
