Fav KRS One song?

#1
Ignore the common debates over KRS from the last couple of years: he is one of hip-hop's finest assets..

..But what is his best song? I find him a little like Kool Keith... one of the greatest to ever do it, but strangely lacking in a pool of highly bumpable material.

Please prove me wrong, I'm honestly seeking some more quality KRS on par with my vote for the thread:

MCs Act Like They Dont Know (prod DJ Premier)

One of the dopest tracks of all time. Does he have any others?

^^ Both undeniable old school classics of his.

I guess what I'm asking is if you had a friend come up to you who wasn't too familiar with hip-hop and said to you "I've heard KRS One is dope, prove it to me..."

Would you play either of those songs? Out of the two I'd go for Outta Here before The Bridge Is Over because sound-wise it's a little less dated:

I'd wanna pick MCs Act Like They Dont Know to leave them saying "Oh ok.. I get it now.."

2 words: Ah Yeah!

i was actually gonna say Step Into A World, but as you can see ^^^ someone else already said it. Ah yeah jumped to my mind, as well as High School Rock, a somewhat unknown and way underrated KRS track from the High School High Soundtrack.

Of Course : I'm Still Number 1.

"I say no-ones from the old school cuz rap on a whole
Isnt even twenty years old
Fifty years down the line, you can start this
Cuz well be the old school artists
And even in that time, Ill say a rhyme
A brand-new style, ruthless and wild
Runnin around spendin money, havin fun
Cuz even then, Im still number one.

I mean c'mon, shit is crazy.

Are you aware of the Boogie Down Productions/KRS-ONE albums that came out in the 80's and 90's?

I don't really have a favorite song by him but I just put on "Sound of da Police" so I'll just say that.
