Going to see this, this weekend. Can't wait, it gets released here tomorrow so will probably go on Saturday. My wife has the first 3 on DVD, she's a big fan of the Saw series.

Saw this last night. It was probably my second fav one of the series because it actually had a decent story. The ending is confusing, and frustrating because I found it confusing not because it was complex but because I confused two particular characters in particular because the actors look alike.

So definitely, stay sharp on this one.

hmmm, i've gotten pretty tired of this series already. it seems they are just gonna keep churning em out a la Freddy & Jason flicks, with not much improvement in sight. i have not seen Saw 4 but from what i've heard, it's pretty much more of the same, so i think i'll skip this one.

who did he learn what from?

**spoiler alert**

In Saw 3 it shows you his very first "game". The guy who killed his unborn child gets put in a chair with knives in front of his face, he has to push the knives with his face to get it.

Jigsaw started small and just worked his way up.

Pretty tight movie. Although, the ending is confusing as fuck. Like, they made it seem like it was a flashback to the end of 3, but the guy (in IV) walks in on the guy that's looking for his daughter (from III). WTF? That was mad confusing.

/\ The Saw IV storyline was happening simultaneously to the Saw III story. They tried to confuse everyone by showing the ending clip at the beginning to give people a different sense of timeline by showing Jigsaw dead when really he didnt die until the end of this movie, chronologically.

I've avoided reading this thread because I still haven't seen it yet, I'll drop some thoughts when I do which should be a couple of days from now.

Just judging by the trailer I'm hoping it to be more lilke a Saw II thing: bunch of people all in the same boat find themselves in some random fucked up horror house. III was good but had more of a character particular progressive vibe to it... I want a repetition of the lay mans 'what the fuck would i do if i was there' type feeling without complication.

I couldn't help but glance across the fact that the ending is complicated. I'll be sure to pay attention, I've watched the other three a good number of times.

And yes, bring on V for next year.
