Kanye West "Homecoming"

Just picked up "Graduation" and, while it has some really hot tracks, it will have to build on me, unlike his Kan's last two, which hit me hard right away.

When I saw the track title for "Homecoming", I thought to myself, "Could it be...?" And it was. It's a reworking of his unreleased classic "Home". Now, don't get me wrong, the album version is dope--really dope--but I was really wanting an official, unedited version of the OG. So I'm kinda disappointed, but maybe it's good, as it could now just be an "undiscovered gem" known by only some people and not the masses.

Agreed, the original version was so fuckin dope. The album version is cool but not as good as the OG.

P.S the original was on Freshman Adjustment if people are looking for it.

At first I thought the same thing but I started liking the one on the album more. I only wish it had John Legend singing. Other than that I like it more.

Where is John Legend on the album? I was also hoping for a Common feature.

I don't think John Legend is on the album. I just said I wish he was on the album version of Homecoming since he is on the original one. Chris Martin doesn't sound bad at all though. I might go out and say if the original didn't exist people would be thinking this is as good as they think that is.

Yeah I wanted to hear Common black out on Everything I Am, since Kanye says he turned down the beat you know. When the piano escalates I can picture Common spittin something major on it, oh well, Kanye did it right.
