Curtis or Graduation

This Curtis LP was re-named and re-branded because of the Cam'Ron beef. So 50's got 2 mini wars goin' on. 1) to show Cam'Ron that he can pull an album with a star studded line-up and be a billboard success, and 2) The issue between Kanye, which was cooked up after the Cam'Ron beef in the build up to both albums being released .
So i think 50 proved his first point to Cam'Rom quite well. The I Get Money video is a direct shot at that. Its a classic banger and classic vid. Dirty Glamour all the way -
Putting all that to one side, 50 i think has the better album. I dont think he will ever give up cuz he keeps coming back with more. He's seen off alot of people in the past and regardless of the result between him and Kanye, they will both be standing after this. Kanye's doin alot of promotion, cant deny it. He's got the UK on lock down cuz he's been on alot in the past few weeks doin shows etc. 50 dont seem to be out there as much, but then again he never was. But I think for the sake of Hip Hop give it to 50.

you are right bro... kanye's album is good, not ordinary rap songs, new style of beats like "stronger" and also the song "Homecoming" with Chris Martin is good , the rest of the songs r good too
50's album is bad..... i liked alot of 50's old songs but seriously this is the worst album of his 3

Curtis is absolute dog shite.
I forced myself to listen to it through last night and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Everything about it is just plain bad. 50 has proved he has nothing to talk about anymore. The album has no storytelling whatsoever. It's just sporadic bars about how his gun goes off and how much money he has.
Maybe he should remind himself that it is thanks to consumers like us that he is filthy rich. The least he could do is put slight effort into making a decent album. It is like a bad mixtape.
I bought Graduation today after listening to the leak. Kanye is trying new things and being original. But the main reason I bought the album? Hip-hop is in a state of despair thanks to rappers like 50 Cent dumbing it down. Kanye brings some class and variety to the scene. The only way we can show the industry that we have had enough is by not buying drivel like 50's album. I hope Graduation sells 5 fold more than Curtis. Shit, it deserves to. Maybe then 50 will realise.

Curtis overall is a pretty poor album, I Get Money and Straight to the Bank are the only tracks i really can listen to more than few times. Graduation is a much betetr album but isnt a classic or a masterpiece or anything near. Its a good album but i wish Kanye would put more of the harder rap song on his albums, his albums seem to be getting more and more soulful, not that theres anything wrong with that, but with tracks like Jesus Walks and Diamonds he can do top class rap songs instead of so many soft soul rap tracks. Good album though but probably my least favourite of his 3, and not as good as Chamillionaire's.
