You knew it was coming. Personally I think Graduation is blah. I think sonically Curtis is better. Curtis could have used a couple more bangers, it seems a bit short on new material and feels like Ive heard most of it before with all the meh singles that came out before its release.

I have a strange feeling Graduation will outsell Curtis though.

Heres a link to dirty retail Curtis leak.

Curtis is sonically better, I think after what Kanye spent on Late Registration he wanted to keep some of the Graduation budget for himself. Went with cheap engineers.

I prefer Curtis, I thought it would be the other way around I'm a big Kanye fan but he fell off hard.

Curtis was better imo. Ye should've gotten some better production for Graduation. :(

I fell asleep on more than half the tracks on Graduation, I'm listening to Curtis explicit now, good stuff so far. Better than The Massacre at least.

I haven't heard either but I can't wait for this Kanye album. I don't have high hopes for Curtis though. After The Massacre all I'm expecting is pure garbage. Is that god-awful song Amusement Park on "Curtis" or is that one of the songs he scratched?

wtf??
How can people say Curtis is better lol, it's worse for exactly these reasons :

Curtis could have used a couple more bangers, it seems a bit short on new material and feels like Ive heard most of it before with all the meh singles that came out before its release.
Kanye always tries new things, his beats are sick, and yet the person that stated the above thinks Curtis is better lol :p

On the radio they played both albums. From start to finish. I hate listening to clean versions. Anyways, the point is that I think both albums are mediocre. I hate the first track on Kanye album. It's just too soft. and fiddy's last track as well. "Put ur hands up higher [r.i.p to Tupac] wtf is that?

nevertheless 50 is gonna outsell K

street niggaz, gansgtas and the bitches buy 50 shit, not Kanye's!

i'm dissapointed about common and 'ye's albums, at least 50 did what he's good at and even though he went a lil bit pop for a gangsta(?)

50's album is really pop, but it's not bad. kanye is way out there on his production, and he's too boring as a lyricist. he needs to go the dr dre route, produce tracks and get guests on every song.

50 aint no rap anymore, he's as pop as britney spears can be.

kanye > 50. kanye tried out new things, some tracks sound better than others but overall, its way better than the pop-ish curtis tracks.

edit: i've jut listened to it again. how can anyone rate curtis better than graduation?!! it's fucking garbage from the beginning to the end.

I've been listening to the Kanye album some more and I realy grew to like it. At first i thought it was too futuresque, but when i thought about it, i realised that I was judging it just like I judged ATLiens of Outkast, which became a classic.

Curtis sucks. Its the same thing all over again, and it's not gangsta rap. It's pop shit.

Curtis is basicaly a remix to Get rich or die Tryin, or that 2nd album he had..whatever its name is.

Graduation shits all over Curtis on so many levels.
