Film & TV Terrible TV shows.

How can you watch TV and not notice all of these fucking horrible shows now? Lets look at MTV. Not that I was ever a huge MTV fan to begin with, but they got some ridiculously stupid shows now. They got how many shows about spoiled rich kids? The Super Sweet Sixten show where they show spoiled kids and their birthday partys. The stupid Laguna Beach/The Hills garbage about more rich kids and what they do every day. I realize TV is all about ratings, but who REALLY wants to watch this shit? They have some good shows like True Life, Viva La Bam and Jackass.. and even shows like Pimp My Ride, Punk'd and Cribs aren't bad.

Now lets look at VH1. Scott Baio is 45 and single (or whatever the fuck its called)? Seriously. Flavor Of Love? I Love New York? The White Rapper Show? And that new show where rappers will teach celebs how to rap? Yeah cause older people don't think rap music is bad already, lets make it look even worse on tv so when they switch to the channel, they shake their heads. Hogan Knows Best? Celebrity Fit Club? And that new show with Brett Michaels thats basically the same thing as flavor of love? Ridiculous!

The discovery channel/history channel are where it's at. Man! Bring back Family Matters. Bring back Married... With Children! Bring back Yo! MTV Raps! Family Matters!

married with children runs almost everyday on the FX network. Family Matters was one of the dumbest shows ever created. it was the black Full House, another stupid show.

why give scott baio a show? because vh1 is was and always has been the "music channel" for adults. many people who are adults now in their 30's and 40's grew up watching scott baio. from a marketing and production stand point it isn't a bad idea for ratings. he was very popular in the 80's and many of the girls who are now women that liked him then might watch it. i'm not saying it will be a good show or it is a good show, since i have never seen it or would never take the time to watch it with so many great new shows on tv right now that have been given life just this year and this summer, but it is a decent idea to bring in money.

Well, Jackass is exactly what it's supposed to be. A show with a bunch of idiots doing stupid things that (most of the time) will make you piss your pants laughing. I'm not saying it's the best show or even one of the best, but it always made me laugh my ass off.

And yeah, I know the shows aren't meant for people like us. I just don't see why anyone would wanna watch it. Whether it be older OR younger people. What's so fascinating about watching young rich idiots spend their money and talk about the shit they do every day?

I knww Married With Children came on FX, although I wasn't sure it still did. That's cool. And omg @ not liking family matters.

As far as VH1, it's turning into another MTV with all the stupid shows. I don't care how familiar people are with Scott Baio! Why do they care that he's 45 and single? lol. And why do they need a show to tell them this?

You have a hang-over on a Sunday and you're flipping channels and see a preview for a show...They show a guy arguing with his g.f. and then he's in a cop car...You think he just beat his g.f. but when you watch it he really goes to jail for peeing in public

Real World, Road Rules the shows you mention on MTV Linx. those shows like super sweet sixteen and laguna beach are the reasons why america is bad because of shit like that. garbage that puts it in the mind of these little girls and guys to act like that. and in the real life world your not gonna get buy.

I love NY...garbage. (unfortunatley) the good ol days of TV are gonna be long gone. Hollywood is giving you the good shows but you gotta spend your hard earn money and buy em on DVD. i would take Married with Children, Raymond, Seinfeld, Sanford and Son, All in The Family any day over these garbage shows. **( even though im looking forward to Back to You with Kelsey Grammer and Patrica Heaton in the fall.)**

As far as MTV goes I think my least favorite show is Parental Control. How much of a bitch do you have to be to let your girlfriend go on a date with two other dudes to lose you, what the fuck. I'd be gone just for asking to do the show. It's more of a principal thing not neccessarily bad TV. I agree with the Discovery Channel though, thats my shit.

Dude, it's true. Whenever I'm flipping channels and I have to catch a split second glimpse of shit like The Hills, Laguna Beach or the Real World I want to go fall on a sword. Basically, what happens in these shows, especially the first two, is this: a girl is going through drama with her boyfriend or some dude she's fucking and there's a fight or some kind of ridiculous drama so she goes and finds her girlfriends and they all cry. Then the girl confronts the guy and she cries. Then, maybe near the end of the show, the guy and girl are back on so the girl cries because she's so happy. It's such fucking garbage. But the show I hate the most, and i don't think anyone mentioned this one, is that show on VH1. I don't know what the fuck it's called but it's like the richest celebrities or some retarded shit and they go on and on about how all these celebrities own 200 cars and 15 mansions and spend all day at shopping sprees. So let me see, why would I be interested in coming home from work one day to see a bunch of people flaunt all these cars and homes and shit that they didn't earn and don't deserve while i sit in my broken down recliner and sip cheap beer? That shit pisses me off to no end.
