can't edit posts

i seem to be having trouble editing my posts. i click edit, make the changes i need to make and click save, but then it just sits there loading and doesn't edit the post. anyone else having this problem?

I know what you are talking about. I had the same problem from time to time.

What i did was editing my post and then i clicked on Go advanced, then save and it worked.

Happens sometimes then goes away, don't know why. Just use the go advanced option if you have the problem.

it's pretty simple. you hit "submit" and the script starts executing, but is halted halfway through. a few years back when the vBb code was different, when you did that the post would normally appear if you refreshed the page, although it was still loading. now it's like described above, you click "go advanced" and it should work. alternatively, you highlight your text, copy it, refresh the page, and paste.

well this problem occurred at exactly the same time that the site decided to "kick me off" for a few weeks and i was unable to access this site, so that was more than likely the problem. i have no problems with editing at all now.

I know what you are talking about. I had the same problem from time to time.
