I never fucked with that site. I fuck with Boxden personally. I think there's alot of dumb fucks there, but you don't really have to talk to anyone anyway. I know I really don't. People act as if they made the music themselves when they upload it. They'll threaten to "take the link down" and shit if they don't get the props (ridiculous internet points they orgasm over) they think they should get. It's a great place for the music though, that's for sure.
As far as OiNk, I got an invite.. but haven't fucked with it really. Honestly? I'll probably let my account expire and not fuck with it at all. It seems too complicated. It's probably not at all, but I never used any of that torrent shit. I'm good with getting music online and thru Slsk, so that's fine for me. Plus I keep it all organized and shit.

you don't necessarily get the newest shit, but let's say there's someone's shit you haven't checked out. let's say you never heard any el-p. do a search for "el p" on oink and you'll find about 10 albums (same albums in diff qualities tho) and about 15-20 vls/cds singles. that's another cool thing about oink: lots of singles with b-sides, alternate remixes and instrumentals that may be hard to come across.
