Eddie Murphy is the father of Mel B's baby

I see where your coming from and I agree to an extent. But I guess because I think the guy should be prepared for any repercussions from having sex with this girl he should know a baby is possible. Thats why I make a point of letting any guy I'm with know how I feel about abortion so theres no suprises.

True he should be. It's just I guess I hate when females try to make themselves look like a victim and like a guy is treating them wrong because they chose to have kid without the guys consent or without even telling the guy. I mean, both parties are accountable, true, but when making a life changing decision like that both parties should also be involved.

i hear everything you're saying syn, and it does make sense, but sometimes things happen. if you wear a rubber, it could break. if you're on the pill, well the pill isn't 100% effective. in fact nothing is 100% effective when it comes to preventing pregnancy. and i am of the belief that if you are willing to have sex with a person, whether you are male or female, you better be ready to face the consequences. like i said before, a real man will take responsibility regardless.

but you're right, there are plenty of women waiting to catch a rich guy in a man trap so dudes gotta be careful. the thing is i think you're being judgmental because we don't know the details in this case. i mean Mel B has money, not Eddie Murphy money, granted, but she's not exactly broke and i'm sure she could afford to pay for a kid on her own. i think she just wanted Eddie to do what's right, and i don't blame her because a kid shouldn't have to grow up without a father when they don't have to.

mel b doesn't look too bad.

oh btw rumors that the spice girls are talking about reuniting are true!

shes looks hot..damnnnnnnnn

I agree with this. However, there are preventable steps that can be taken to ensure that it doesn't lead to a baby. So, why did she not utilize them? It seems to me that she was well aware of Eddie Murphy's position, which is not to have a child with her, yet she went against it. In this case, a real woman then wishes not to have anything to do with the father and opts to raise the kid on her own.

if they were not in a serious relationship, then even if mel b was taking the pill, eddie murphy should have wore a fucking rubber. that's how it works. now if he didn't wear one and he really didn't want that baby, well he is totally stupid. mistakes happen. pregnancy happens. and if didn't make that extra prevention to prevent the pregnancy well i don't see how he is not responsible for that.

i am not against abortion, but i don't think mel b wanted murphy's money. i'm quite sure she has enough money on her own to take care of the baby. basically she did what was right, inform the father of his child. especially that she knew murphy thought she cheated on him so now she could prove him wrong. and i believe that if you are pregnant and you know who the dad is, you should tell him. then you'll know that if that man is a true man and if he'll take is responsabilities.

exactly

and Syn i have a question for you. what if your bf and you had all the protection tp prevent a pregnancy and shit happens and you get pregnant. what will you do? and most importantly will you consider yourself as a slut because you are not married and pregnant?

(no attack here, discussion :))

No, it doesn't work like that. If she's on the pill, you don't wear a rubber if she's clean. By clean, you kind of have to trust her that she's being honest, of course. Also, I never said he shouldn't be responsible. My post implied that she could have handled the situation a bit differently to not put Eddie in such a position.

well that still wouldn't change the fact that she would be pregnant without being married. even if she had an abortion, she WAS pregnant, and by her own definition that would make her a slut, would it not?
