i dont think she purposely got pregnant. from what i read it was an accident and since he was the only man she had sex with in the last months it was clear ot her that he was the father. of course murphy denied and said she must have had sex with tons of other people.

well it is possible. if she told him she was on BC or something, or only had sex with him for the sole purpose of getting pregnant then what syn is saying is right. but as far as i know, none of that happened, so it seems kinda harsh to judge her as a slut or a golddigger when we don't even know the facts.

Unless both parties discuss it and agree upon having a baby then it's a sole decision. If the girl knew they were just having sex and nothing more was to come of it then she purposely got pregnant probably for his money or some other reason then she's a slut and should be solely responsible for her bastard kid. It annoys me, as I said earlier, that some chick makes the decision to have a kid and now both parties are held responsible although the other person had no say so in the matter originally.

i do not agree with the pregnant not married = slut. so you're saying that becca is a slut cause she isn't married and still got her baby. marriage nowadays is not the holy ceremony people did back then. you can have a child without being married. and as far as i know eddie murphy was in a relationship with mel b. and he said he didnt think it was his because he said she cheated on him. now we know she didn't cheat on him or anything.

My viewpoint is the moment you decide to have sex is the moment you BOTH have a responsibility to whatever happens, its not as if people dont realise sex can lead to pregnancy. Its something that cant be controlled like she helped the sperm get to the egg lol.

I agree with this. However, there are preventable steps that can be taken to ensure that it doesn't lead to a baby. So, why did she not utilize them? It seems to me that she was well aware of Eddie Murphy's position, which is not to have a child with her, yet she went against it. In this case, a real woman then wishes not to have anything to do with the father and opts to raise the kid on her own.

Meh, it's fine if you're irritated. However, a child should be an enhancement to a already almost perfect relationship, not a mistake. And if these females having babies were independent and didn't need a man.. they wouldn't be after these guys for their money. They'd take care of their own kids on a solo mission.

I know, it's totally cool. I didn't take it as an attack. And yeah, that's true being pregnant can happen. However, 95% of people probably aren't having sex and trying to get pregnant. And if they weren't in a serious relationship to begin with then she knew where he stood and it wasn't trying to have a baby with her. If people want to have sex with whomever randomly they should definitely take precautions to not get pregnant. However, if one does get pregnant and decides they want to keep the kid then it should be discussed and agreed upon amongst both parties not just one person. And if one person makes the decision themselves then they should take sole responsibility of the kid.

I see where your coming from and I agree to an extent. But I guess because I think the guy should be prepared for any repercussions from having sex with this girl he should know a baby is possible. Thats why I make a point of letting any guy I'm with know how I feel about abortion so theres no suprises.
