Film & TV Heroes (NO SPOILERS)

Friendly warning; if you spoil the remaining five episodes for me, I will hunt you down and cut your brains out like Sylar.

Episode 18, Parasite just finished. The last three or four episodes have convinced me that this is the best show on TV, the best that I've seen for a long time, and it is better than LOST. It's fucking incredible, every single character arc has me completely hooked. With LOST you get episodes that you don't care about, like most of the Charlie ones, but with Heroes it's a mile-a-minute stuff.

Anyway, discuss.

i dont know if it the best but one of the best. the best drama on tv at least and it is the best new show. imo the best is the office but that is a completely different catagory of tv show. the last few episodes are great one and just leave you wanting more. i can not wait until season two

I'd consider it better than The Office (the American version) in terms of overall quality, but you can't really compare. I'd say it's definitely the best drama on TV, though I only really watch Heroes and LOST.

"Dexter" starts soon over here, is that any good?

.07% was on last Monday, bloody brilliant. The one thing that's pissing me off is that the Sci-Fi Channel, which airs it in the UK, has no clue what they're doing. The preview for next week's episode always seems to spoil something major, or suck all the tension out of the cliffhanger endings.

Case in point (and a minor spoiler for people who didn't see the preview), they showed Future Hiro telling Present Hiro that it was Sylar that exploded in New York. Confusing, since Ted is ominously headed to New York with Matt and HRG, and Linderman has told Nathan that Peter will explode the day after his election. I hope Ted dies, because Peter and Sylar are awesome characters that they need to keep around.

I've been listening to the 10th Wonder podcast on iTunes, very cool.

one simple question. why have you not downloaded the rest of the season yet when it is all available? WHY!? :(

anyway, yeah i remember .07% being cool, but the next episode is cooler. i hope i don't ruin anything for you by saying this, but what you saw on the trailer didn't really spoil anything for you in my opinion.

Because I'd watch them all in a day, and have nothing to watch for the next six weeks. With LOST gone I only have Heroes on a Monday, Veronica Mars on a Tuesday and My Name Is Earl on a Thursday. Everything else on TV is shit.

My brother has seen the whole series, he says the next episode is the best of the series.

Sylar for President!

You weren't kidding when you said Five Years Later was cooler. Future Peter Petrelli is even more awesome than Present Peter Petrelli. Especially with that bad-ass scar.

Got some clarification on the whole "who was the bomb" thing, which was brilliant.

Very cool to see Sylar as President and Matt as the head of an Orwellian homeland security. Of course, if Hiro goes back and kills Sylar then those characters might not go in that direction.

And ANOTHER Sylar/Peter showdown, which - despite it being short - was awesome. I really hope Sylar doesn't die, he's too good a character.

Well there are three more episodes or something right? So as you know, opposite to Lost, on heroes the plotlines come and go more sort of. I'm actually gonna speak some thoughts on this when you are done watching. They are two shows I like but for very different reasons. Eventually I am gonna have to go with Lost, but there has been so much emotional commitment :D

I thought The Hard Part was a bit slow, and not as good as the episodes before, but Landslide was awesome. Really looking forward to the finale.

Four characters died already (Thompson, Ted, Linderman and D.L.) which goes with what I've heard about next season being a fresh start with only a handful of characters from this season. The deaths of Thompson and Linderman were both really cool too, great to see D.L. go out on a high. More subtly, the Candice stuff was interesting too. Lots of hints as to her true identity.

The last scene was awesome, Sylar is a bad motherfucker.
