EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT!

Sample:
In the upcoming July issue of Vibe magazine, 50 Cent is very candid about getting rid of everyone on his G-Unit label roster. I'll fire everybody , said 50. 50 stated that everyone in G-Unit is responsible for their performance and that once they start to slack off, then it's time for them to get the boot. This threat should be taken as no surprise if it comes to life, as the G-Unit general released Olivia, who was a close label mate and artist of his from the label's imprint not too long ago. Mr....

dont think this is too controversial. he's basically saying you don't get shit from him just from being a friend, you gotta earn it. if i became rich and famous i'd help my people out, but like any man with an ego, i wouldn't accept being used. basically, this has been common practice for centuries and 50 cent is not bringing anything to the table. it is refreshing to see that 50 is that serious about it. maybe he is destroying hiphop, maybe he's not, but the fact that he's willing to fire a friend off his label instead of letting them make bad music tells me he does this with a pure heart.

i am almost a little happy.

50 cent bringing an order of respect to the table is an example of good work ethic so that no one could or should even thinking about trying to take advantage of him, and yes, that's what he is bringing to the table. It's business, never personal.

aye, but by the term "bring to the table" you gave the idea that he brought something that wasn't already there. well you're right sort of, as far as his own camp goes, but there are a lot of business-oriented rappers who have been doing it for way longer than 50. i wasn't disagreeing you, i was pointing out an error :D that was my point, nothing else :)

^^ well something wasnt there...maybe it was respect maybe it was something else...but thats what i was thinking since he fired olivia...she was lacking something...so he brought discipline, if not respect to the table...by making olivia an example to the rest of the workers.. if they slack off...they'll get off too...

^^^LOL!!!!!!!

Anyways, I'm happy that he's firing people from G-Unit... Less people on G-Unit = Less G-Unit albums.

This is BS because he is the one who judges how a G-Unit Records album should be/sound like, then he comes back saying this lol...

He could always tell his artists "hey man, that shit is trash re-record it again". But he doesn't cause he is the one that says "we need more street bangers, more club ish" then when that doesn't pop off he turns around 360 and drops ish like this.

^^ 1. he picks the singles.

2. he's the one that told Banks to change his style. Banks harmonized damn near every chorus on Rotten Apple.

7 Syns is right. I bet if G-Unit albums was goin' 2x platinum, he'd be the one taking the credit.
