What the hell happened to President Palmer and Logan??

I don't understand how you can wrap up a day without tying the loose ends. These are two presidents--one goes into a coma and the other is stabbed, yet this makes no news. Usually in CTU, there is a TV turned to Fox News with breaking news. A president's condition should be on. While in the final hour of the day, Russian president Suvarof basically says he wishes Palmer a speedy recovery (implying he's still alive), there's still no word on Logan. How can you do this!?!?!?!?!

I can probably live without knowing the fate of President Wayne Palmer. Compared to his brother David, possibly the greatest president in 24, he's mediocre.

But Logan...wtf! this is a serious cliffhanger. While I could not stand him in Day 4 or 5, he had a rebirth in Day 6. Either way, Gregory Itzin (the guy that plays Logan) is an ultimate actor. Whether good or bad, I love this guy on the show. I need to know his fate!!

They always say that if you don't see someone die in 24 then you have to assume their still alive.

Palmer was in a coma after collapsing, i agree with you that he is nowhere as good as David Palmer.

Logan is an ex-president, i can't imagine that he'll play any further part in the 24 series.

I liked the way the series ended, it meant that they can start season 7 fresh, without Jack being tied down to anyone or thing (eg Audrey)

The rumour i read on the net is that season 7 will be set away from CTU.

You're right about Logan and I feel the same way. But...I feel like he could come back to help again at some point. It's similar to the Nina Meyers situation. That bitch was in 2 more seasons after she was guilty of treason until Jack finally killed her.

Also, about CTU. This was on CNN so it's pretty much confirmed. It's still CTU, but not CTU-Los Angeles. I think it's going to take place in Washington D.C. if I remember correctly.

I would think that President Palmer will be back in it unless season 7 takes place years later.

PS: Bring back Kim :(

Hell yeah Kim was so fine in the 1st 3 seasons but i thought her character was quite stale.

I think the vice president from 6 will be the full president in 7. Pamler won't recover fully though i still expect him to be in it.

There was an article over here that hinted that 7 may be set in London.
