gambit was in xmen 3. you can only see him in one scene whem magneto is addressing all of the mutants in the forest. he is standing behind magneto. and gambit will most likely also be in the magneto movie.

Wrong.

The Magneto movie is set during World War 2 and follows a young Magnus and Xavier, but mostly Mags.

Gambit is too young to be fit into that movie.

Not only has it been scripted (by Sheldon Turner to be exact), but there is also a director, David Goyer.

And like I said, it is an origin movie, Magneto will be in his 20s and thus Gambit will not have even been born yet so no, he will not be in the movie.

You can try to insult me all you want, but I am right. Goyer is currently adapting the screenplay as he does with most of the stuff he works on that he didnt write solely himself.

His directing track record is iffy, Blade Trinity iffy, but his writing is great. He did all the Blade flicks, Batman Begins, the new Batman Dark Knight, and those are only his comic book adaptions.

So I am looking forward to seeing how Magneto progresses with him on board.

As for Spider Man 4, Im yet to see anybody really confirm to it apart from studio execs. Regardless, I never said there would be no SM4 to my memory, I simply stated the main actors and director didnt want to return at that time.

Anyway, Im right about this and you're making yourself look like an ass with your attempted cheap shots.

X-Men 3 was my favorite of all 3 in the series. Rare for a 3rd installment to be the best. Also, for the record, X3 > SM3

lol im not trying to insult you, just being my usual smart ass self, i am not saying the magneto movie wont be about his early days. but i am saying we dont know yet because the script is still being written according to what i have read on superherohype.com and aintitcool.com . for all we know it could include flashbacks and still have some parts of the movie take place before xmen one or have some parts in it where the it takes places after xmen 3. from what i have read the idea is for it take place in his earlier days, but that could change. movies scripts often do. look how many rewrites the latest superman movie adaption went through before we got that awful movie last summer.

i'm just saying we could see a gambit in it since there have still been recent rumors of josh hardnet(sp?) being confronted about playing the character. and since in the comics magneto and gambit worked together it wouldnt be that far off depending on which way the script went.

rami confirmed sony is going to do spiderman 3, 4, and 6 as well as marvel confirming it.

Id rather see Gambit pop up in Wolverine. The script for that one is done too.

Magneto is written, based on the script Goyer signed on to direct, he is adding some final touches, but the story wont change. The bulk of the movie is set with 20 somethings, Ian Mckellen or however you spelt his name stated in an interview he has not been contacted to reprise his roll in a Magneto movie at this time so I doubt we will see an old Mags unless a different actor plays him, and if anything it will be a flash forward not a set of flash backs.

In regards to coming book movies, Im more interested in Hulk 2 and pissed off about Punisher 2 :(
