you're lucky cause normally registrations are closed. they prune members every now and then, but there are only 6000 available slots. i had to get an invite. the site doesn't keep a huge library of torrents, but you get the latest episodes of the most popular shows as well as a few movies, games and applications. and you get good speeds

---------------spoiler------------------

the episode was pretty cool. i'm really blown away by what happened at the end there. did desmond lie to charlie because telling him the truth might keep him from going? we don't know how he's gonna die yet, or if he will, but what did desmond see? maybe desmond's visions are controlled by someone and that they have the ability to "fake" a vision for him to cloud his mind and get charlie to do something that these observers needed him to do?

i know next week is gonna have a game-changer of epic proportions. something wild. i am leaning towards the theory that maybe they are being observed somehow. like an experiment, although not in the traditional sense. granted, we now know the station charlie dove into is called "the looking glass", but next week's title "through the looking glass" can still be a little twist. i don't think it's relative to contacting naomi's boat, i think it has something to do with what happens in that station.

i am so fucking psyched about the finale. it's fucked up that the details for both this episode and next week's were made available online earlier this week. i have been so tempted :( so far i have resisted.

who is it? it could look like she's dragging ben, but i don't know if this is supposed to mislead. it could also look like she's dragging a heavy bag and the guy next to her is helping her or something, and it just happens to LOOK like ben.

while i know promos are misleading as hell, i'll be damned if jack outwits ben. nice catch nevertheless roaches. i was more amused by the white rabbit. :)

roaches are you talking about alex? in the promo, you see alex with ben when he's about to intercept the losties, and danielle is leading them. so danielle and alex are gonna meet face to face in the next episode? i can't wait to find out. either way, i'm having a hard time making out the faces of the people in the pic you posted so i'm not sure what you are aiming at.

yeah that's what i thought it looked like too. i don't get why though. i hate the thought that the losties come to the island and pwn the natives. if dharma, which was a group of scientists, couldn't, why should a bunch of ex-criminals and emotionally troubled people have any better luck? i really hope that's not where things are going. i like the idea that the others are all powerful like they have been for three seasons. i have such little clue what to expect from next week. i love the finales, they are so fucking great. the season 2 finale is one of the greatest tv experiences i have ever had. i think next week is gonna be insane.

just a tip: watch the jackbacks closely.

Yeah, I think it looks like Ben. I don't think the Losties will be able to overwhelm the Others - in fact, I'm pretty sure that the showdown will not be nearly as exciting as it is in my head (let's just say my vision involves Sayid with dynamite strapped to his torso and a duel between Zombie Eko and Zombie Ethan). I can see the Others overthrowing Ben for a multitude of reasons (he sounds kinda defensive when he says "Everything I did, I did for the island!" in the trailer).

You read em too? I'm glad they were so vague, I think I've inoculated myself against the detailed ones when they inevitably spill.

having a second look, as well as looking at a zoomed picture from thetailsection.com, i can tell that you are right. it looks like ben, with alex walking behind him. so what happens in between ben intercepting the losties, the dynamite trap going to shits and tom and pryce having jin, bernard and sayid captured, that causes ben to be the losties' prisoner?

i am sympathizing with ben. ben has always been the guy who controlled everyone so to speak. he's always been the scary guy. i'm all for progress but i want ben to remain the overseer so to speak. last season, kate, sawyer and jack were taken prisoner. their fates were unresolved and it made for i guess an okay bi-cliffhanger. now if ben being left behind was another bi-cliffhanger, they wouldn't reveal it in the trailer, so i wonder how that's gonna play out.

maybe ben being taken is part of a greater plan.

for once in my life i have been able to resist. i do not want to know what the actual game changer is, although i have a pretty good idea i think. i want to ask you questions where you would only give me hints as to what it is without giving anything specific, but it wouldn't be right to the other thread readers. i guess i'll just keep on waiting, it's just a few more days now.

*SPOILERS CAUSE I WAS RIGHT*

Still watching, current thought: the flash back is really a flash forward... Sawyer in the coffin perhaps... Reasoning... "Neither"...

i enjoyed it, but i don't know what to say. ben is obviously right and i think the show took a deep turn. it's almost as if i feel upset. so they did get off the island and it WAS a mistake and there was no happy ending. what's interesting is now they are gonna have the present time, flashbacks and flashforwards and it's gonna be interesting to see how they tie it up. they are probably gonna change the structure of the show so that something about how or why they get off the island suddenly becomes really really interesting.

this finale was very character driven, and the cliffhangers were more character-related than mythology related. i don't know if i'm really liking the direction they are taking, but we'll see. i'm gonna give it a shot next season. i just wish the finale was more like "the man behind the curtain", "the brig", or hell, one of the last three episodes from season two.
