I’m so confused because on yelawolfs page it has a post promoting Eminem’s new album telling people another classic and to cop it.

i think yelawolf took a pic with mgk on his instagram middle fingers up after killshot dropped
If he did, it seems to be deleted now? I know he made a song with MGK lately, so I know he will try to do everything to promote it. He's leaving Shady Records too (in an unrelated case) but at the same time had nothing but good things to say about Eminem and his whole career happened thanks to Em, so this is rather confusing and I wonder how it's gonna turn out. He's somewhat stuck between the two beefing rappers at the moment.

Yelawolf's stuff on Shady Records was actually good. They did some good freestyle/cypher collabs as well starting with the Shady 2.0 stuff. Yelawolf really grew as an artist there and I quite liked his 'Love Story' album!

Perhaps a case of being at the wrong place, but Yelawolf throwing the devil sign looks like he knows what he's posing for.

Anyhow, Rap Devil was entertaining, but Killshot was the real deal. While Eminem wins lyrically, MGK is winning business-wise. I had no idea who he was before this lol.

I've heard of him, but prior to this beef, had no idea who he was or how he looked like, and would have never imagined that he could get Em's attention. I thought he was a nobody in the rap world, with a one-hit wonder song that would sometimes creep into my Spotify when it plays random "latest" playlists. I surely wouldn't get used to his name, sure that it would be forgotten as fast as it appeared.

Aren't almost all beefs in hip-hop mostly for free publicity though? Not only initiated by obscure rappers, but even between legendary ones. Sure, MGK now popped up on the radar, but back in the days I would follow Jay-Z and Nas during their beef more than I ever did at any other times. I think beefs are interesting and fun to follow and result in good songs. I just much prefer when both sides can go toe to toe.

Not only had I heard of MGK, but he's been my favorite rapper who's gonna die young for years.

He's a complete fuck-up. This is who he is, from a Rolling Stone article:

Thanks to a perilous combination of bad luck, fearlessness and serious partying, he keeps getting hurt. Last year, he was wasted in Denmark when he tried to imitate a sport he’d just seen on TV (“What’s the thing where they hop over the fences and shit? Hurdling?”). “Do you guys wanna see some real Olympics?” he asked his friends, climbing on a car. He didn’t realize it had rained. “My foot slides down the entire front windshield  …  and I fucking face-plant right on the concrete.” He needed facial stitches and a cast on one arm, but still played his next show.

This picture is some fake ass bullshit.

MGK was opening for Fall Out Boy. He was wearing a jacket so his shirt wasn't visible. He told the crowd to put their middle fingers up for a photo. Turned around, and took off the jacket.

Fall Out Boy should kick MGK off the tour for this. Those people didn't buy tickets to see MGK.

That makes way more sense. Lmfao. If he's smart he'll do another reply and get some more $.

I’m surprised more of you hadn’t heard of MGK. I’ve liked a bunch of his music over the years.

This still gets play pregame:

He’s a huge Bone Thugs fan and shouts them out and has done a couple tracks with them over the years.

DMX too:
