As much as I love Jay, I've long thought Nas was not only better, but the GOAT.
SOOO looking forward to this release, as I have since 2012 (would still love to hear the original album that was "done"), and he's released consistently good guest verses and compilation tracks in the time since.
Am excited to hear him over Ye beats, and while it will probably be production like on ye and Ghosts (haven't listened to Pusha's, so I can't speak on that), I would prefer old-school Kanye. On that note, we all know how inconsistent he is with picking beats, so I hope he made some good choices here.
The only thing I'm concerned about is the length; while they settled on seven tracks to make it tighter, one weak song would stand out more than it would on a longer release. (And, after six years, I would much rather have an LP than an EP.) Also, I'm always of the mind that more Nas is better; I probably like his maligned albums more than most people, so I don’t subscribe to him having too many duds (he does have some, as do all artists).
