I understand the NFL. It's where I pick a fantasy team and then they all get injured. I waited 4 weeks for Bell....!
Wasn't he out for 2, though?

But yeah I saw his injury today. Probably something more conclusive tomorrow but Pitt lost a big game today. I still expect the Bengals to choke. Probably not the division but definitely in the playoffs. I do like Andy Dalton, though.

Oh yeah. I had Martavis Bryant too. I waited 4 for him and 2 for Bell. I was killing things. In a 12 team league and I had both Forte and Bell. Not looking so good now.

Forte hurt me a lot as a Bears fan. I really hope he doesn't leave us, but this is football and it's inevitable.

Lots of season-enders this week. Steve Smith was pretty rough too.

Still, glad the NFL is taking off in the UK. I think the NFL has a lot of money invested in making it work. They want Canada real bad, too. I think that would be a smarter choice before London gets a team.

I think London is the better choice. More money in it.

Than Toronto? I think the attendance of London games are so high because it's a new thing and doesn't come around very often. I think more Canadians are interested in football than Britons. Toronto and Ottawa alone could be enough to keep the team there. They already hosted a Bills game last year or something.

Plus, the travel cost and time difference for going to the UK to play, or vice versa, would be a bitch. Whoever schedules that London team would have to be compensated greatly for it. Like in College Football, playing at Hawaii, six hours behind Eastern time, gives the team that travels to play them an extra game on the season.

It'd be funny if that London team joined the AFC East, solely for the "American" part. The Patriots vs that London team would be the biggest rivalry in the NFL, haha

I think it's great and all, but the NFL needs to hit up some countries closer before the city of London.

I seriously think a Canadian team is a priority and then maybe a London team. A Mexican team. A Carib team wouldn't be bad either.

The NFL doesn't just randomly pick countries. They do have data to support a London team. It's about money and money doesnt directly correlate to attendance

You still don't think Canada would be a better first option? There's a major league team in baseball and hockey in Canada and they seem to be doing very well. Of course, hockey would. Basketball too.

And there has to be money involved with traveling costs too. That's six hours in the air, at the very least, for either team, up to 10 hours if you're going to or from the West Coast.

I haven't seen the data so I'm just going off of simpleton ideas. Players would have to obtain citizenship in the UK too, wouldn't they? How does it work for soccer when you get players just moving about Europe? I imagine it's easier for them because the EU just has some lax visa/immigration laws for other EU residents. Not sure about the US.

Good question. I assume they would need a work permit.

The Knick has seriously changed the way I look at medicine. No one gives a shit how, but I just had to say that. The historical accuracy of their portrayal of medicine and just the social issues back then too have made me put some things into perspective.

Wasn't expecting that from a show on fucking Cinemax.

Anyone watch the Amazon Originals?

I like Sneaky Pete.

Current Pilots - Patriot has potential. I like Edge The Loner only for Colin Farrell's baby mama. The story is poor. But she is perfect.

Cool, I've been meaning to start watching that show, this gives me a reason
It's incredible. My dad is full of medical history and has spouted it off whenever he could in the past. I listened but was never gave it a second thought. To see that same history, procedures, people, etc. shown in action on the show really put what my pops said into perspective. So it hits on a personal note on a few levels for me.

I love Clive Owen's character, Dr. Thackery, but the coolest one is the Black doctor, Algernon Edwards. Guy has the classy black guy swag about him, even when the White folks around him are incredibly prejudice. Racism back then was different than what it is today. In a good and a bad way.

And man, the music on that show is amazing and trippy. Spotify has the soundtrack for both seasons.

Damn, I didn't know Cranston was already back doing TV.

Don't have Prime, so I'll have to find another way to check out Sneaky Pete.

Does Catastrophe count as an Amazon Original? I like it better than You're the Worst.

Sneaky Pete was pretty good. Patriot really good. Haven't seen Edge. Also good from Amazon: Man in the High Castle.

I keep meaning to watch that. But the whole pretence just seems too 'look how clever i am'. Puts me off.

I liked Bosch and Hand of God too. I want to see more of Mad Dogs. But it's a remake of an English show.

NFL is a dying sport... literally. It's gonna be gone in 20 years. Go watch the Will Smith movie faggots.

As always your superior intellect understands modern concepts so much better than us brain dead sheeple.

I wish I shunned technology, sport, happiness and life so I could be as superior as you. But it sounds rather boring and miserable, so I'll stick to worshipping the television, technology and the mundane. Not that I actually do, but you tend to think that what we post on SH is what drives us in our lives.

You mean you don't try to emulate Kobe when throwing your boxers into the hamper with a fade away in real life?
