Well, the whole issues brings up whether Islamic countries are ready/can handle democracy. And it also deals with Islamic extremism whenever a good number of Muslims take over an area. Whether it be in the UK or France or any African country. Egypt is 10% Christian and I'm sure they're not going to like an Islamic government forcing their women to wear veils, despite not being Muslim. It's happening in the UK and in France, where there were/are those riots.

Egypt has such a rich history and it seems that the Muslims came in whenever they did and fucked it up.

I don't know what your media feeds you. But I'm in the UK. And it 100% doesn't.

South American Football - Referee beheaded by fans for killing player

What?

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/...e-beheaded-fans-killing-player-084120459.html

"There were absolutely horrific scenes at an amateur football match in Brazil when spectators lynched a referee and put his head on a stake after he had killed a player."

Oh, yeah, it was a referee. For a second I though it said coach. Now I understand.

They're looking into making this part of every game. Nike is already onboard.

Maybe not riots, but do the Muslims in England not cause problems for other Brittons? Do they not try and bring Islam into schools and other aspects of British society and expect others to be tolerant of their behavior while ignoring others'?

A very small percentage which is sensationalised by the media and used by the government to force their agenda and justify the wars in the middle east. The same justification used for ousting Mubarak, Gaddafi and S. Hussein. Yet the people in these countries are far worse off and 1000s of children killed.

To me, Islam is no different to Catholicism. They are both old religions and stuck in a time when our morality and ethics were in a different place. But... The Pope and his boys get to do whatever they like.

OK. And then in France with the Muslims rioting in Paris? They see it as religious persecution/oppression but it seems the French see it as trying to keep their nation as secular as possible.

I have nothing against peaceful Muslims who pray at home and are happy about it, but sometimes I'm glad that I live in a country with a hardcore nationalist mentality that beats the crap out of anyone forcing their culture on ours.

Funny to see Germans suffering from Muslims though. Almost every person from Germany I know has something bad to say about them. The last time I've been to Germany, you can see problems related to it everywhere even without looking closely.

Although recently the Muslims banned building the statue of our general Sobieski who stopped Turks from invading Europe back in the days -it was supposed to be built in Vienna, lol. That was because he killed lots of Turks and they see him as a pretty bad guy, and who gives a shit about Europe in Europe, right?

They just cause problems everywhere they go. Even the Christians in the US don't cry about shit as much as Muslims do. Gay marriage and abortion are big subjects, but that's really about it that people are for the aforementioned can say "stupid Christian fundamentalist....."

Maybe because my parents and people from Asia, in general, have had experience with them. The really bad ones. Their countries' history has been shaped by them, and a lot of times it's because of conflicts with the Muslims.

We talk about Islamic states today and we see them as "backwards" and just "fucked up" in general. But Muslim civilizations thousands of years ago were prosperous and seemed to work well. They were smart as shit, especially the Persians. The East in general is responsible for furthering advancements in agriculture, math, science, whatever. So what happened in between that they went to shit and others prospered? I don't want to hear it being religion being the reason for holding it back. I mean, it is, but that's not the ideals of the religion's fault; I think it's the way the people just manipulated it to fit their needs. I think that's what ruined it.

You can still have your no pork, alcohol, pray five times shit. But it's starting to seep into other parts of the world, which is fine too, but there are extremists that are forcing non-Muslims to cater to Muslim needs. And that's where the problems start, especially in Europe.

There are two groups of people that no matter where you go in the world, there are many people that will have strong negative opinions on them. Muslims and blacks. And for the latter, maybe African Americans, and not just any type of African (from Africa). I know this first hand. I go to a school with plenty of Muslims. And they're a mix from India/Pakistan, as well as Iran and other Middle Eastern countries, like Egypt and Palestine. We also have plenty of people from Africa as well. Nigerians, South Africans, Ghana, etc. They all have experiences with Muslims. And they'll confide to non-Muslims that while the ones here are rather modest and not dicks, back in their countries, they are ruthless. There are even some Nigerian muslims here. And they get along fine with each other.... but there's always that thought/understanding of what Muslims have caused in the past for their ancestors, and even in present day.

That doesn't just happen through spreading rumors and stereotypes to elicit fear of them. There's a rich history of it.

There's this new Netflix series starting up this week on Thursday called "Orange is the new black." Looks pretty good. It's written by the same person that created Weeds, and there seems to be a lot of those same actors in this show as well.

Just watched the trailer on Netflix, and I think I might check it out.

Saw White House Down yesterday. Not bad. Rotten Tomatoes really went hard at it, but I found it to be alright.

So I just found out that Android has an official PhotoShop app. I don't care how shitty and limited it may be (rated four stars, though) it's gonna be fun to toy around with.

We'll see if it's better than the free Pixlr.

I'm a few songs into Tony Touch's album and it's been real good so far.

Downloaded and listened to it in class.
