Also. He now has one game in his career where he plays like everyone thinks he can. That killer instinct type game, that "nobody's smiling" type of attitude game. The type of game that could make him the greatest player ever. The sad thing is, we have one game like that, just one. I've always said it and it still rings true to this day. Bron has all the talent in the world, minus finesse, but he's a mental midget. His b ball IQ might be high but he lacks in a major way in so many other areas

I was talking about True Blood being done for good. Series finale. Shit needs to end. HBO needs more comedy shows since Veep is about to end this weekend and Curb has yet to start back up and Eastbound finished as well.

yeah, HBO has its good shows and it has its dumb type shows to draw the dumb crowd because they can't make enough money off of elitists like me (who don't even subscribe). see: game of thrones and true blood

Game of Thrones is okay. I am also warming to Girls, even though it is obviously quite girly.

I, however, cannot get into Veep. Which is annoying because I loved Arrested Development.

I think they should have kept how to make it in America.
That wasn't on HBO, I don't think. It definitely wasn't. There was no swearing.

Game of Thrones looks very elaborate but I can't get into it. I don't think it'd be bad, but I can't handle fantasy worlds that took place centuries ago.

It was on HBO but they canceled it after season 2. I've read stuff about other networks maybe pucking it up. I hope someone does I dug the show.

I like Veep because it keeps politics to a minimum. Sure, the story is driven by Acts and social formalities/obligations that politicians have to deal with, but it doesn't attack one side or the other. it just humors the corruption in politics in general. And then side stories like the Veep being pregnant and how it gets out to the public.

I can appreciate that. Someone mentioned Arrested Development. Aside from Buster being on Veep, do the two shows have any ties to each other in terms of writers or producers or something?

When does the new AD season start for Netflix?

I don't think the writers are the same. I think Veep is written by English writers.

But it has a similar, very dry humour feel. Which is normally right up my street. But Veep just feels a little empty.

I think the season of Arrested Development that is coming will only be released after the film, but I don't know dates.

Yeah, when your parents expect you to be buried in a book 24/7, it's hard to ask for a subscription to a service that streams unlimited content on an Xbox.
