Worth watching or the same boring shit as Alcatraz?

i can only handle select comedies on network tv right now. dramas are just too corny for me with the dialogue absolutely terrible. i think i'm just too used to the quality of shows put out by hbo and amc.

Which is what I find also. I won't waste my time with these 2 then. It confuses me because of the high ratings these TV shows receive on imdb.

cause tools vote for them. i long ago stopped considering imdb in my decision making. i prefer meta critic.

I don't go with IMDB. But it annoys me. Foreign language films are 20% higher than they should be. TV shows seem to get too high scores, also.

Maybe you just like foreign films 20% less, so they seem to be overrated?

All the IMDB ratings are shit. Everything is too high. The crappiest movies get a 6+ and the average on there is about 7. Probably because more people bother to vote for films they like, which would affect the ratings.

No. I love South Korean films. But not all of them are 8+ ratings.... Most people can read (in the western world) so people who watch films in a different language to English shouldn't feel elite.

It saddens me that IMDB is flawed.

I also found that older films get higher ratings than they should.
