what will you be doing

I'll be part of a team that evaluates the economic potential of iron ore bodies. I have to do two weeks of safety training in Perth before I'm even allowed on-site, and once I get on-site I'll probably have another few weeks of training. I think once I get down there I'm going to start a blog about what I do and what the lifestyle is like.

Weird thing happened to me today. And I keep thinking about it.

The girl who sits beside me in anthropology gave me a little best wishes card and told me it was a pleasure getting to know me. I guess I keep thinking about it because (a) it's one of the just genuinely nicest and random things anyone has said to me in a long time and (b) if anyone from one of my usual circles did this it would be absolute chirp city from myself and everyone else who knows that person.
