well, teams know about him now. we'll see once they start planning their defense on him, how he does.
agreed. Lin played well, but so far, it's only a couple of games. NY is 11-15 right now, which isn't good enough for who they want to be (I don't blame Lin for that.... just the rest of them. ;)) .... It's a shame btw that with a record of 11-15 they are in 9th place, close to a playoff spot.

^He's played well enough for Rockets GM to accept they overlooked him. Which is quite professional of him to do so.

"We should have kept [Jeremy Lin]. Did not know he was this good," Morey wrote on his official Twitter account on Thursday. "Anyone who says they knew misleading U." In a separate tweet, Morey praised Lin, writing "Finally, really happy for [Lin]. Very hard working, nice, & humble. He has a great, great future."
I'm personally hoping he evolves into a devastating point guard. If this guy achieves what I'm hoping, I'm a Knicks fan as soon as Bryant retires :p

College basketball at its finest. Austin Rivers, wow. Cold-blooded.
I just love the fact it happened in North Carolina. Its one of the most devastating shots I've ever seen in basketball. I was actually proud of Doc Rivers as well :)

Yeah, Lakers took out the Celtics...AWAY! Ha! What a win in a dismal season. Pa-pa-pa-pa-PAUwer!

I present to you the Nerd Shake.

Yeah. That's the smartes backcourt in the NBA. Fields holds open an imaginary book, Lin flips a few pages. Then they both put on glasses. Then they both put the glasses away in their shirt pockets. NERD SHAKE.

We can't lose. If we win, it's LINSANITY strikes again! If we lose, we didn't have Melo or Amar'e. But you guys just played an OT game in Boston last night, so it should be close at least. Prepare to speak the name Steve Novak with pure rage.

Some of the posts went away with the whole gaying out of the forum.

Anyway, we just absolutely stole a game from Minnesota. This compressed schedule is so frustrating sometimes. Back to backs all the time. We were about to lose to a very shitty Timberwolves team. Lin was clearly exhausted, but he still pulled out the W. Also, now that I watched Rubio play a full game, I'm not impressed. His limitations are many.

This was Rubio at his worst, though. He had some bad luck, like the ball going off the foot. He was clutch though but then that faggot Novak decided to hit another 3.

Also, The T-Wolves aren't very shitty. They're shitty but they're not the Bobcats or the Wizards. They share the same record as the Knicks (which, I realize, isn't helping prove my point).

1. Rubio is still tight
2. Kevin Love is a monster
3. Pekovic has been playing well lately

Most importantly, in terms of fun teams to watch, The T-Wolves are probably in the Top 5.

It was such a good game. I love both Duke and North Carolina and I think Marshall is a psycho. I was leaning toward NC winning but the way Duke took the W was just insane, Rivers is going to be an issue for any team in the NBA who aren't lucky enough to land him. He's only a freshman for fuck sake. NC should never have allowed that switch at the end and Zeller shouldn't have backed off so much. But the entire game was fun to watch. I love the atmosphere of College games, it shits on NBA crowds.

I am finding it so depressing watching the Lakers. :( the commentators were saying "if I were a coach for the Lakes I would be concerned right now about the offense." I was like if they haven't been concerned for the majority of this season I'm concerned about THEM. Mike Brown has always appeared to me like a guy who lacks confidence in himself and what he should be doing. I have no basis to think that other than watching him watch the game. Phiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiil!

^College games have the best pace + atmosphere. I love it. NBA games have hyped up fans when there is a genuine hate for a particular player/team on the court, or the final seconds of a close one. I think Thunder fans are probably the best in the league when it come to getting behind their team.

I always root for Duke because of coach K. I hardly follow them passionately, but I'll try catch their games when the opportunity shows up. Still, I've barely had a chance to watch any college hoops this season. Last season I was in it from the get go as I had loads of free time. I actually forgot about the Duke/Carolina game until you mentioned it on here so...props!

I think why I'm not down on the Lakers is coz I knew it was over when David Stern pulled a number on them. I just knew from then on it was about qualifying for the playoffs and hoping to get past the 1st round. I'm still undecided on Mike Brown. With him coming in after Phil Jackson it was always going to be unglamorous in terms of success.

My expectations were low, they are due for a re-build and definitely a massive one since Phil left. It's just depressing to see them go from great offense to what they are running now. Just hard to get used to is all.

Okay, Lin impressed me today. I was unsure about him I will admit, but today, fitting in with Amare, dropping the game winner. Im sold.

I just hope he can toughen up a little.
