Unlike Pitts, I wouldn't make the comparison. The shows are too different. It wouldn't be fair to either of them. Both are must-watch, of course.

It received a favorable review in the NYT and as soon as they threw the "existentialist" word around, I was sold.

It's an entertaining film. I enjoyed it. I think I'd like it more if I gave two fucks about baseball, though.

I love baseball and I read the book, Moneyball, about Billy Beane and the A's. I heard this one was a comedy, though. Gonna download to watch on the flight.

TI and Rick Ross have released very good mixtapes this year. Like, very good. Like, I won't choose two songs to put on my mix playlist and bump in the car, but might just burn the mixtapes and play them as a whole.

Do you ever run into problems with leaving mixtapes and even albums, just sitting around in your iTunes after you're done listening to them? I usually don't give the short snippets a listen. The ones that are like..less than two minutes. And I skip the skits for sure. But I'll like a few songs, but keep the whole mixtape or album and it just eats up space. Something like OCD about not having the whole album there, even if I don't like it. Or that I don't like it now but might listen to it again later and like it then.

I used to drive by T.I.'s hood often on my way to Atlanta. I fucking love his music. He's one of the few rappers that hasn't lost his way since I started listening to music in 2002.

Speaking of lost souls, how was Mobb Deep's new album? Sounds like shit? I thought so. Nothing will beat The Infamous or Hell on Earth.

I used to do that but now I'll give a mixtape a few listens and if I don't like the project as a whole, I'll just keep the songs I like and delete the rest. I'm more concerned about space on my HD than before.

Prodigy's Black Cocaine EP? The whole project found its way in the trash. He's been done for a long time.

You not getting stuff off of RGF anymore? Mixtape Torrents is great if you've got good speeds on torrents. Got Jada's Audio Heroin and T.I. in about 45 seconds. Jada fell off too. Kiss of Death was his last palatable release.

If a mixtape is free, I usually download it from 2dopeboyz, The Smoking Section, etc because I don't have to alter the tags in iTunes. If it's an official album release, I'll download from RGF or from a blog like this http://www.pluspremieres.net/ that puts out iTunes releases. I never have to worry about cover art and guest features and I can be comfortable with audio quality cause I know people pay for it on iTunes. I usually download the grouprip as soon as the project leaks then download the iTunes version later and delete the grouprip.
