Nope. It's actually pretty good.

What were your thoughts on it? Why wasn't I going to like it?

I only saw the first three episodes or so. But I thought it was too niche and it got boring too quickly. There's only so much you can do to make fun of hipsters and how people in Portland live their lives. It got tiresome. To me, it wasn't laugh out loud comedy. It was kind of like "Ha, I see what they did there" but not entertaining enough to make me want to watch it every week and be excited for it.

To me the best thing about the show still is probably that music video/theme song, when they say Portland is where young people go to retire. I thought that was golden.

Anyway, the first episode of the second season of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret leaked so I'm excited to watch that.

I loved that music video. You mean from the first episode, right? The music was incredible. I liked it a lot.

I'm on the second episode. The jokes may be cookie-cutter formulas, but I can handle monotonous styled comedy, so long as I still laugh. I won't say the show is prolific, but it has its moments.

Sons of Anarchy is another show a lot of people I know watch and love. I just can't watch much non-comedy shows. Weeds was dark humor, but that might be the only semi-serious show I got in to.

Yeah, everyone loves it. I can't get into it for two reasons. One, the mother is Peggy from Married With Children. I can't see her in a different role. Two, I can't take biker gangs seriously. When that old, gray-haired guy wears a crip bandana, I just can't do it. It's corny. Of course biker gangs exist, but they just don't entertain me one bit.

Breaking Bad is another show a lot of my more sophisticated friends like. And Burn Notice. I can't do shows that are longer than 30 minutes. Feels like a mini-movie, and as I've stated on here before, movies have to be really enthralling in order for me to not break them down into two or three viewing sessions.

Breaking Bad is on a different plane. I'm a huge fan. Such a good show.

But I don't have the problems you do haha. I can easily sit down and watch a 90 minute movie in one sitting on my laptop. But I don't do it as often as I used to. Between a movie and a TV show, I tend to pick the TV show lately. But I'm going to watch Moneyball right now.

How was Moneyball?

Moneyball is good.

Breaking Bad is the second best TV show ever, but The Wire is in my top 5, for sure.

Sons Of Anarchy was good for the first season, watchable for the second.... And then fucking awful. Much like The Shield.

So much for this.
The Lions defense was laughable. They've got good protection agains the run with Fairley and more of Suh, but Brees had two or three long touchdown passes that were just inexcusable.

It's ok. Lions were rookies to the playoffs in over a decade. They'll be back. The Saints were in the same boat a few years ago. I think it's the Texans' turn next week.

What's number one, in your book? I'm definitely thinking about downloading a season of BB after I finish Portlandia.
