A good amount of people has been telling me to watch this show. I am a hardcore anti-reality TV show zealot but they keep telling me this show is "different".

Anyone watch it?

I saw one episode out of curiosity, I wouldn't say it's like the typical reality TV show like J.S or Big Brother, it's more along the lines of Pawn Stars, Ice Road Truckers, etc.

It's an interesting show, haven't gotten around to actually sit and watch more of it. Kinda fascinating to see the uncommon "walks of life" of people, or the things they do to make a living.

^Yeah, I mean, the premise is very intriguing.

"Alligator season in Louisiana begins on the first Wednesday in September and lasts 30 days. In this time limit, many of the alligator hunters, following a tradition dating back 300 years, earn most of their yearly income in a high risk vocation dependent on experience and the whims of weather within strict regulation by wildlife laws."

Every time i see this thread title I start thinking about the song "Short People" by Randy Newman.

I watched a whole season in one day. It's addictive...but I haven't watched an episode since then. I do that with all shows tho. I'm really behind on Dexter and its one of my favorite shows but i can't force myself to sit down and watch it.
