^haha yeah, completely takes tyler's style and runs with it. I shouldn't say "tyler's style" cause he jacked it too but yeah. lame on game's part.

"Fuck you Tyler" genuinely made me laugh. Game even says it in a perfect deadpan manner

I dont know why the whole iconoclasm thing has suddenly become popular again when Chino XL has been doing it (much much better) for over 17 years now

What do you mean by "the whole iconoclasm thing"?

The Game calling out names and using people in punchlines for no apparent reason. I know Eminems been doing it for years too, but he's always been a lightweight Chino XL

yeah, but you have to be in a position of authority (in music, that means, more than 5 people listen to you and you have mainstream attention) for it to matter even a little bit.

Shots fired! lol

It's true though... most people only know Chino's name just because of "Hit 'Em Up" lol

I heard one Chino XL song and I think it's because Fabolous was on it or something, Tech N9ne maybe. You know his rap career sucks when he's more known for shitty cameos in cop TV shows.

But whether it 'matters' or not is irrelevant. Chino's been doing it for years and basically started it, so it just adds to the severe lack of originality in music in general. I was trying not to use the word 'biting' buts thats basically what it is..

Shots fired! lol

tbh thats how i originally discovered him but since then he's been one of my favourite rappers and possibly favourite lyricist of all time!

His career might not been the best, but his albums are good, the Poisen Pen album was great. The track Wordsmith is one of my personal favourites.

What I dislike about him is that he tries too many punchlines, he forces them at times and they just come off corny. But yeah listen to Wordsmith.
