Looks like Google TV may interest me after all. At the moment I use XBMC which is far superior to anything else out there. Including Boxee and SageTv. But if anyone can make a product that rivals XBMC, I am sure Google can. And I wouldn't doubt that an XBMC app would be written for googletv anyway.

XBMC - THis is similar to what I have running. Except my skin and layout is nicer.

so Pitts, I spent HOURS setting up XBMC, but i'm glad I did, this shit is dope. I installed a plugin to stream movies, giving me access to thousands of movies on demand.

Only thing that isn't really working well is the music, but I guess I gotta fix the ID3 tags.

Its no longer officially support for XBox any more, works on most OS's now.

XBMC is best on a PC.

It was what I recommended in the other thread. I have it running on an acer revo 3700.

ive uninstalled it from my laptop. i decided it was time to fix my old pc, it was built for windows media center, so its perfect for XBMC. Hooked up my old 26" tv as the monitor.

Just tryna work out how to get the media center remote to work with xbmc now.

I have a PS3 remote that I intend to use. It's one of those jobs that is half complete, but functions so you don't quite get around to it.
