Yeah I got the guy on the oil rig... I haven't signed back onto the game since that night. LOL I also finished all of Volk.

I didn't kill him until after you left that day.. then I finished the rest of Volk. It took me forever to find him hiding out at the top of the friggin rig. It was hard to get up there! LOL

Yeah I heard it was in the same city. I'm going to go ahead and grab it.. I get 500 gamer points on my Best Buy Reward Zone membership for picking it up. I'm saving my points, lol, I have about $400 worth of certs that I'll be using sooner or later hehehehe

I agree! I'm not always sure what I've responded to or what you're responding to that i've sent. Weird that you can't see them. Check inside your box... I always find little random accessories in the box my console came in.

you know when you play deathmatch? how can some guys use a helicopter or a bomber to kill you? does that come as you level up or do you get it if you get a number of kills in a row.

Hello. I got myself a new Xbox and have a 30-day gold account. I just don't have any fresh games though. Anything interesting to play online? I'm scarred to buy MW2 since some people are already pros at it and I suck at online fps versus shooters lol

I dunno how you guys play MW2 on Xbox or a console. I need a keyboard and mouse to destroy.

Funniest shit is that on PC, people modded some of the servers and put their own rules. lol. Like if it was dedicated servers. There was one where it was a 'Bonus XP' mod in it, and a kill was worth 150 000 XP LOL.

I jumped from level 50 to 70 in a matter of like 5 kills.

The first FPS I played seriously was NOLF on PC. The first one I really got into, namely the multiplayer online was Halo 3. So it wasn't that long ago. Before that, I just didn't play online. So I got used to the controller feeling compared to a keyboard.

Most say a keyboard and mouse is best, but for someone that really doesn't care either way, it's easier for me on the console. Don't have to worry about upgrading this and that. Plus, all my friends are on Live so...

I don't have any new multiplayer games. I think I still only have GTA4 if it comes to games with good multiplayer lol. For some reason MW2 is hella expensive here - more than other games. I'll see if I can get one for cheap somewhere though.

As you level up.. you unlock various kill streak rewards. So you pick your reward for "X" amount of kills and when you reach that amount of kills without a death.. you get the reward. You can also get a care package (at a 3 kill streak) which sometimes contains poo (ammo) and sometimes contains something great (chopper gunner).

Crackdown 2? I'm enjoying it. It's really similar to the other game though, but with a bit of a L4D feel to it. There are zombie/vamp hybrids that they call freaks that only come out at night. The city is the same but all in ruins for the most part. You should download and try the demo. It's free and it's the same as the game. You can even unlock gamer score points while playing. Graphics are much better. And there's an online multiplayer option for like team deathmatch. So far, i'm enjoying it a lot.

You should also try Left 4 Dead.. it's fun. You should be able to buy the first one from the market and download straight to your console for fairly cheap.

They do that on the 360 too... hook the console up to the PC and play with modded maps. There's the "god hack" where you never die. The "wall hack" where you can see through the walls, the "knife hack" where you knife someone from anywhere. It's why I quit playing, I hate that. Just play the frigging game. I wish they'd fix it.

That hacking thing is terrible. I hoped that it won't be possible on Xbox live. I'm thinking whether I should buy MW2 or not. I played campaign at friend's house and quite liked it but can't picture myself not getting owned online lol.

Here's the thing though... you can't please anyone who plays MW2 multiplayer. Everyone hates a specific type of gameplay but it's all gameplay. They hate people who "camp", hate people that snipe, hate people that "noobtube", hate people that use double shotguns, hate people that "run around", hate people that knife. NO matter what you do in the game, people will complain and whine about it. If you suck they're pissed, if you do great they're pissed.. there is literally no winning. LOL You have to just turn your mic off and enjoy the game. Unless you're playing with people you know.

I just went back to MW2, and noticed the modded servers since I haven't played in a good 6 months or so. The problem is the stupid match making sessions. If there were a list of games or servers, that give the game type, nood tubes removed, modded features, etc... people wouldn't complain so much. It's always been done like that (well for PCs it has) and it's what works best. You can ban whoever you want and change maps quickly mid game if no one is happy. So, most of these 'hacked' servers are due to the frustration with this IW match making garbage.

I can't comment about the consoles.

Great, I have the Arcade version of my Xbox with no mic lol. I'll search for a nice deal on MW2 then. If I'll be able to grab one for cheap on some auction then I'll buy it because for some reason here for its retail price I could have any 2 other games.
