tattoos is where ur street creds at? i shouldve known...
LOL what are you talking about??????? I mean when he got them he must have felt a reason to get them, and to get rid of them JUST so the general public will accept you? LOL pppppppleeassee. Sand I get what you're saying but if 50 was a good enough actor he would not have to do such things lol. Don't compare 50 to Ice Cube. I am a 50 fan, but come on Ice Cube COULD act and also his music influenced a whole genre unlike 50. Like I said I'm a 50 fan wish him the best on his career he worked his ass off for it no doubt about that.

No, what are you talking about? Gangsta was a fad of the 90s. It's dead. Those that cling onto it are morons. There is nothing cool about dying, and pretending there is is fake. At best it's "ok" to die, but it's not cool or sweet or anything like that. The whole Gangsta culture is dysfunctional. If you don't wanna have this discussion then fine. I'm not saying you are any of these things unless you FEEL you are, but the culture surely is.

I mean when he got them he must have felt a reason to get them, and to get rid of them JUST so the general public will accept you? LOL pppppppleeassee.
This is you being retarded though. Who said he got rid of them to get "accepted"?

Pac started out as an actor. He always wanted to be an actor. At some point, he realized he could make music to earn money, and he started doing that, but it was all a part of his plan to become an actor. Now if you go back in 50s career and look at earlier interviews, and some more recent ones, the same is true. 50 always wanted to act. Rapping came second. Whatever he did for his rapping image, came second. The tattoos. Well..

Sand I get what you're saying but if 50 was a good enough actor he would not have to do such things lol.
This is another misconception. Are you saying that if an actor is good enough, no special effects are needed to make a good film? Well, that's true, but once again, you don't seem to understand the movie making process. The director of the movie has a vision. If his vision is a Dave Chappelle-looking 50 then that's what 50 gives him. Movies aren't just about acting. The art of enticing the eye has to do with colors that go together and a whole slew of scientific shit that you obviously have no knowledge of since you condemn him for applying some of it to his new film.

Don't compare 50 to Ice Cube. I am a 50 fan, but come on Ice Cube COULD act and also his music influenced a whole genre unlike 50. Like I said I'm a 50 fan wish him the best on his career he worked his ass off for it no doubt about that.
50 can also act. They are different actors. Ice Cube didn't really blow me away in any of his movies, neither did 50, they are both OK. 50 did influence the genre as pretty much everyone started copying his hooks around that time. He developed several new artists. Him and his G-Unit crew became a fad worldwide. A bunch of white people earned lots of money and 50 got his name out there in preparation for his movie career (which is what he wanted from day 1).

Who is selling out? Stop using such a retarded, simplified sentence. The concept of "selling out" belongs to third graders. Adult people should be able to see the nuances of gray in between.

Seriously, educate yourself on 50 before you open your mouth. I'm no huge fan, quite the opposite, before you make any such suggestions I will again suggest that you educate yourself about who you open your mouth about. All my posts about 50 should contain hatred for him and G-Unit. Just do a search on the forum. I just hate ignorance. You are factually wrong. What you mean to say is that you got emotionally involved with the gangsta thing and it sucks that they all abandoned it while you're still keeping it real.

50 Cent gets too much hate because he sells a lot more records than his talent deserves.

He isn't a good actor, as yet. But the levels of dedication he shows mean that he may get there. I am in awe of 50's desire, determination and his drive to achieve. I would like to be so driven. But I am a quitter if things prove a little difficult for me.
