Here is a 40 second snippet of the song with kobe (just kobe's hook):

Kobe has also featured on songs with Chace Infinite (of Self Scientific with DJ Khalil), Fabolous, Mitchy Slick, Strong Arm Steady and Xzibit.

let's see if they deliver. ive got higher expectations for the track with pink rather than the one with rihanna. i dont like to see eminem and wayne collobos, and to be fair, ive not enjoyed any of them. but who knows, they might push each other to spit the better verse on this one since its going on an eminem album.

i was sort of expecting a d12 feature. a mr. porter (kon artis) chorus would have been great. i thought they were meant to make a "huge" announcement about eminem or the album soon, which was like a week or two ago now. i thought maybe it would feature someone else or some former artist on the label.

im surprised by no 50 cent, d12 or dr. dre.

however, em will be on obie's "bottoms up" :)

Also the "Never Afraid" video will be premiered on 5 June

^^ thanks:

here's something i read on my phone from wikipedia...

Recording and production

In an interview with The Alchemist, he confirmed a song titled "Insult to Injury" in which Eminem performs in his normal voice. He described the song as somewhat of a sequel to "Underground," the final track from the previous album, Relapse. Another confirmed song is titled "Hit Me With Your Best Shot". The song features his rap group D12, Bizarre of D12 said the new song shows the groups strength despite losing Proof, who was the founder of the group. "We're still family, but everybody's got their own situations going on," he added. "No matter what y'all do, you can't hold D12 down. We've been through a lot of shit, but we're still gonna come back and recover."[12]
When speaking to MTV, affiliate DJ Whoo Kid stated he heard some songs from the album. He confirmed that the song, "The Warning," a diss record to Mariah Carey, was not as intense as the entire album would be, saying the album is 'maniacal'.[13]

On October 3, 2009, Eminem appeared on Shade 45 with DJ Whoo Kid where he stated that a track with 50 Cent, in which the two rap together on verses, existed.[14] In the same interview, he also confirmed both Just Blaze and Denaun Porter as producers on the album.[14] Bizarre of D12 stated that the group recorded a song for the album tentatively titled "Hit Me With Your Best Shot".[15]
On April 13, 2010, Eminem tweeted "There is no Relapse 2" to his followers. When he tweeted this, people started to believe that he was not releasing an album at all, but it meant simply that the album would be changed to Recovery. He confirmed this by tweeting "Recovery" with a link to his website. Eminem said "I had originally planned for Relapse 2 to come out last year. But as I kept recording and working with new producers, the idea of a sequel to Relapse started to make less and less sense to me, and I wanted to make a completely new album. The music on Recovery came out very different from Relapse, and I think it deserves its own title."[1][16]

On April 27, Eminem released a freestyle titled "Despicable" over "Over" by Drake and "Beamer, Benz, or Bentley" by Lloyd Banks featuring Juelz Santana as promo for the first single, "Not Afraid", which debuted on Shade 45 on April 29.[17]

Guests

As for guests on the album, Eminem had confirmed back when the album was still entitled Relapse 2 that he worked with both Dr. Dre and 50 Cent on the album. D12, Royce Da 5'9",[18] Cashis[19] and Lloyd Banks had been speculated as possible features on the album.[20] However, none of these artists are actually featured. The only guests on the album are solo singers Pink, Rihanna and Kobe. The only rapper besides Eminem on the album is, Lil Wayne. Recovery will be Eminem's first album not to feature a verse by Dr. Dre or a skit by Paul Rosenberg.

Release Dates are as follows:

Europe - 18th June
UK - 21st June
US - 22nd June

its a shame there'll be no dre, 50 cent, royce, cashis or banks, the latter three can really spit; dre and 50 (oooohhhhh my jam master jay adidas trainers have arrived, delivery man is here :)) cent have great delivery and make up the three headed monster. i guess paul rosenberg and jimmy iovine want sales this time around and want already well-established artists in different genres to contribute so this album will appeal more to different audiences rather than the typical eminem fan.

i'm actually glad he has features outside of the aftermath family. i'm not very happy about the collabo with Rihanna. guess we'll see how it turns out.

i think the pink collabo can be somewhat memorable like the one with dido, but not to that extent because that was just classic.

what happened to the times when eminem would collaborate with people like sticky fingaz, missy elliott.

luda stated he wants to work with em, and that its been long overdue. something with red and meth or even just redman alone could be a modern classic. i dont care about hits.

Unfortunately they do. I agree with you on the Pink song being memorable.

Yeah I mean that would be the ideal hope. More likely it's some sort of poppy upbeat song. But I've been wrong before. We'll see. I'm looking forward to it.

^^ well i for one, look forward to that collaboration and the one with kobe than the others. but its not just about the collaborations, how about the solo tracks? they should be the best ones on the album. Fingers crossed its a very solid album, no fillers (since there's not that many songs). and finally, no accent.
