in my opinion Crooked I has clearly established himself as the best rapper alive

look at the classic music he's had hit the scene since 2008 alone!

-the song If You Ever Hear Me with DJ Revolution

-Slaughterhouse LP (he was the best on it for sure)

-Block Obama mixtape

-Block Obama EP (fucking classic shit)

-The Horse Shoe Gang project

-Pigface Weapon Waste

the guy is def the best on the west...but imo the entire game. and that's without getting to put out an official nationwide album.

granted "young boss 2" was an album...all original music

he's definately up there with the best in terms of todays music. he's got that hunger but doesnt have that appeal to most people. he is best to stay underground rather than to break into the mainstream. his best chance at doing that would be with slaughterhose - we'll see the direction their second album takes. (p.s. did they get round to mentioning their news about signing to a major label?)

i'd like to see B.O.S.S. drop soon.

One of my favourite rappers ! I've been listening to him ever since his deathrow days.

His album was suppose to drop like 5 years ago.. He's worse than Dr Dre lol !

He's my least favorite to listen to in Slaughterhouse, or at least tied for even third. So no.

But that's not saying he is wack, they're all just very, very, very dope.

I think he's average in a "decent class" of hip-hop. There are many better rappers but he's not bad. Personally I don't like his music though. It doesn't appeal to me.

^^ yes. he tends to say COB, circle of bosses a little too frequently.

i still want to know who benzino said he had lined up to side with him and his group to diss crook and slaughterhouse.

Slaughterhouse is trying to sign to Shady but Joell and Joey's contracts with Amalgam Digital are keeping the paper work from going through.... But from what I've read as soon as they work those out, they will start working on their second album, this time with major backing....

personally i thought the slaughterhouse album sucked monkey balls (well maybe not that bad but it was one of the biggest let downs of last year)... and now that they're going major I have even lower expectations from them.

.. and I aint no slaughterhouse hater, i love Joell and Buddens.

He's really good but I have to agree that he gets boring. In my opinion you have to also be able to break thru to the mainstream level to be considered the best rapper alive.

we have very different definition of quality songs.. To me, quality songs have heavy replay value..

To be honest the only thing (imo) that truely has replay value on that whole album is the HOOK to Salute Me... and oh, that was done by Pharoahe Monch

There's hundreds of dope emcee's out there that have the ability to make songs that would appeal to the mainstream, but choose not to.

Man just listen to his older material. Download his older mixtaepes and all the hip-hop weekly freestyles.

I can't see how you can call him "boring" and "inconsistant". He can rip any beat, listen to the 'hip hop weekly finale' freestyle.
