Togo banned from the next two African Cup of Nations

Togo have been banned from the next two African Cup of Nations after pulling out of this month's finals following a terrorist attack on their team bus.
Three people died in the attack in the Angolan enclave of Cabinda, prompting Togolese prime minister Gilbert Fossoun Houngbo and president Faure Gnassingbe to order their team back without playing in the finals of the tournament.
The Confederation of African Football have now confirmed the ban, with CAF president Issa Hayatou

saying the decision to withdraw was based on "governmental interference".
He had previously insisted that Togo were not disqualified from the competition, and had decided to withdraw of their own volition.
The armed wing of the Front for the Liberation of the Enclave of Cabinda (FLEC) claimed responsibility for the fatal attack.
