It's not really a hip hop album but its still decent.

On the 'Meet Me In Tha Middle' song, it sounds like Timbaland took 2pacs 'Lost Souls' beat and changed it a bit. :?

'Meet Me In The Middle' doesn't sound anything like 'Lost Souls'.

'Lost Souls' was sampled from one of my favorite 80's songs, "Don't Disturb This Groove" by The System.

There is a mild similarity between the rhythmic pattern of the notes, but there's a million songs with synths riffs with a similar pattern.

Remember, musicians (like yourself) and "regular people" listen to music in different ways. That's probably what he meant, that they have similar arrangements.

the track listing does look terrible.

if it was actually proper hip-hop, he could have done with a little more sebastian, D.O.E., keri hilson, magoo, missy elliott, attitude.

its good to see no akon. im not happy to see artists like onerepublic, miley cyrus, katy perry and jojo on here. it just symbolises his intentions to move away from hip-hop.

i cant really see the timbaland and magoo album materialising now.
