Last week we reported that 50 Cent's 'Before I Self Destruct' was on pace to sell between 150-160,000 units.
Projections were correct as 50 Cent debuts at #5 with 161,000 sales.

Rakim's 'The Seventh Seal' debuts at #61 with 12,000 units.

Rap duo Felt (Slug and Murs) debut at #111, selling 7,000 copies of 'Felt 3: A Tribute To Rosie Perez.'

Other notables:
Jay-Z is now #30 with a total of 1,300,345 albums sold.
Wale's second week: 8,698 sales, a total of 37,025

Jay-Z has already beat 50 without even replying to him. Now 50 Cent can't start talking shit about album sales like he usually does when he disses artists.

It'd be really embarrassing if they were worldwide numbers.

All he needed to do was to put enough tracks on the album so it would be a double disc album. When its a double disc, the units count twice. So 160k would have been 320k.

That's what Jay did with BP2 and people were going crazy cuz he sold so many (580k-ish or so) in his first week, when in reality he only sold 290k-ish actual copies.

In comparison, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ sold 872,000 units it’s first week, The Massacre did even better with over 1.15 million discs and Curtis moved close to 695,000 units.

well i dont think "have a baby by me and be a millionaire" is the stupidest shit ive ever heard, in a way it will be good in other songs but yes i agree this part that it did let that song down and also the fact he took that part straight from i get money, it soundz exactly the same

but im really suprised he only sold that much i didnt think it was that bad album, but man i guess the leak did really hit him, cause seeing 50 do such less numbers is suprising
