i used to hate fps games also. my friends played them so i got into it. i guess its probably because im a competitive person lol.
I have it already. It's annoying at times but looks, well.. realistic. So realistic that in the beginning I didn't know what's happening.
First I was like.. cool, I'm in a heavy humvee on a chaingun position with a whole army of tanks driving against some arab suckers so what could possibly happen? That was untill I saw rockets flying and the whole screen was red with blood. 10 seconds later I was on some random street with rockets flying everywhere seeing blood and only "look for cover" on my screen.
I expected to see my legs flying there.
Also it's funny when you start the game for the first time and get 10 or so questions about some stupid things like "do you want to play a mission that some players might find offensive. Do you want to skip it?" and then if you click "no, I will not feel offended" you get a "fine, you will be able to skip that mission anyway" line.
Judging by the amount of blood I saw during my first mission I wonder what happens in that "offensive" mission. Maybe a black person dies or something.
Yeah, it is unreal, but Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 will prob be larger, and that's going to be only for PC lol.
People in Korea will be dieing of exhaustion in Internet Cafes by the hundreds... lol

^what system you got it for?
have got a Sony PlayStation 3
just finished the campaign mode 'for the record' and got a completion score of 50.3%.
one thing i like and noticed about this game, that i've never noticed in any other games, is the 'playing-by-ear' concept of the game. it brought playing the game into a multi-tasking dimension, such as working with the controls and maneuvering, then looking for enemies to shoot and places to take cover, and on top of that is listening to instructions and info from team mates. it brings the whole gameplay experience into using more than one sense at once. it's the first COD game i have played and have never played a game by ear before, games used to used sound just for effects, i like how the game uses sounds for interactive gameplay, it's like fighting with the computer - against the computer.
anybody that wanna add for multiplayer mode my PS3 network username is PhallicManic, pls say who you are though

ill send you a friend request later. i dont think the invites are working correctly. supposedly theyre going to release a patch on friday to fix the problem.
You'd like counterstrike. Using sound to pin point enemies in that game was crucial to owning.
