^There was something genuine in those tracks. In his new shit, it's like he's trying to market himself as some sort of new-age commercial Necro while In the Slim Shady days I felt like it came naturally to him.

It's hard to describe and articulate. It's possible it has to do with age. When I got into Eminem, I was 11 years old and thought his content was witty and funny and rebellious. I was diggin' the persona. Now it's just not cool to me to to listen to him rap about psychotic shit. His shit like "As the world turns" had some absurd elements but it wasn't about some Saw and Hannibal shit.

When Em is saying nothing everyone talks about his flow, when a guy like Lil' Wayne flows his ass off all anyone says it's Money Cars Clothes etc. I know I shouldn't use Weezy as an example cus that puts a salty taste in most peoples mouth, for the good and bad ha, but yeah.
