why the lack of single releases from eminems relapse?

#1
relapse is a great album but there has been little in way of single releases and music videos for such tracks from the album.

i would normally expect to see more of eminem on mtv and such since the release of relapse. em's media presence seems to have declined somewhat, am i right in thinking that's because time is being spent on the next album instead, relapse 2

let's see... he released:

crack a bottle,
we made you,
3am,
beautiful

4, though only we made you and beautiful were official. crack a bottle was a ringtone single, 3am just had a video.

hopefully relapse 2 is coming soon. i hope he releases lots of leftovers.

idk what people want from em. first they say they want him to rap about the old crazy shit he used then we get comments like hes too old to be talkin about his mom and shit.

i thought relapse was a solid lbum and couldve been better if he didnt use that voice but the lyrics were def. there.

that's exactly what i think about relapse.

what would people prefer?

no voice and dumbed down lyrics or a bit of a voice/accent to set the tone and really good, creative lyricism.

Only song's I still really listen to is Beautiful, Deja Vu and My Darling, oh and insane because it's my ring tone. Should see some of the looks I get in public when someone calls me lol.

None of his shit was radio-catchy.
He released the singles and the radios played it 1 week, maybe 2 weeks tops and that was that.

Only reason his album sold is because of all his fans from his previous albums and etc.

If this was a new rapper coming out with whatever Em dropped, his first week sales would have been D-Blocks last albums first week sales.

If he didn't do that stupid accent shit on his album, his record sales and radio activity would have been up by like a zillion percent.

LOL!

I played the intro to that track for a friend of mine when I got the LP. Her jaw dropped at the first line and I just howled with laughter as he gets to the part about his stepfather.
