Has anybody watched "OZ"? Is it any good? I aint seen it but im thinking about buying the boxset as i reckon it looks pretty good.
I think I've seen just the first season, want to see the rest. It's very good in my opinion. It's not like the regular shiny hollywood type show, it fits the theme of the show.. Just depends if you need something to look like a $4,000,0000 movie or not.

Oz is a very different kind of TV show. I started watching it after The Wire, and struggled to get into it. It's deliberately theatrical - Harold Perrineau narrates and breaks the fourth wall and has monologues - which can be a little disconcerting. And it is 12 years old, so it looks a bit cheap.

But I will get around to watching it. Maybe once I've finished with Deadwood, which is fucking amazing by the way.

I've just started watching season 6 of The Shield and imo its outstanding! Up there with The wire and The Sopranos. More gritty and violent than the both of them. I dont know why nobody bar one person mentioned this show.Vic mac is the man.

Im thinking greys anatomy is next on the hitlist.

Grey's Anatomy.. thats random.

I just herd it was pretty good lol. I've never watched any hospital series but like i said i herd it was good. I opted against it anywayz, i got Oz boxset. Cheapest i seen it in the UK was £60, but i got it from America for $60 so im pretty pleased with that. I aint ever seen it but i herd it's dark gritty and violent, right up my street, although you wouldnt have thought so after me mentioning Greys anatomy lol.

I know Im late to this thread, but i just got done watching season 1 of Fringe. Its pretty dope (took me a couple of episodes to get into it tho), not usually the type of thing I'd watch but it soon had me hooked, cant wait to get into season 2.

How I Met Your Mother is the Friends of this generation. So it's my fav show these days.
How I Met Your Mother is fucking amazing, i've been watching it since the beginning. I love how there's so many intricacies and callbacks that you notice if you've seen all the episodes, the recurring storylines, like the goat, and the pineapple, and the yellow umbrella etc,

Boston Legal is funny.

I really got into How I Met Your Mother recently, although I seem to catch random episodes but enough to get the gist. I'd like to see it from beginning :)

I just finished The Shield last night, it was brilliant. Definetly one of the best series i've ever seen. From the first episode to the last it just keeps getting better, great stuff.

Definitely watch it from the beginning. Before I got into it, I'd seen a few random episodes of Season 1 a couple of times and liked them enough to start from the beginning - it's more rewarding that way because you can follow the story arc and whatnot. It's awesome regardless though because even though there's storylines to follow, each episode still works on it's own as well. I think that's quite an impressive thing to pull off.

I don't watch shows like 'Lost' because the storylines are so complex that if you haven't been watching the whole time, you won't have a fucking clue what's happening. I don't like that.
