Weeds. I haven't seen much of it, but it's good. I don't know why it's classed as a comedy at the Emmys.

I'm watching this also, on for season 2 episode 6 now. I like it, kind of a cross between the X-files and CSI.

I don't know the science behind categorizing TV shows, but I know a comedy when I see one. It's a drama, yes, but it's not a la Mad Men or Dexter. Even though Mad Men and Dexter provide comic relief, they don't do it overwhelmingly. In the case of Weeds, most of the plot and story centers on making you laugh.

^I watched the first couple of episodes and although I found some things funny, I just find all the characters despicable. Some people will watch it just because they find their despicable natures funny, like S01EP03 when they all decide to go to high school prom. LOL

But in the end, I kind of like to connect with TV characters and not hate them.

I'm not a big fan of Always Sunny. It's OK, but I don't think it

There's some good American comedy out there, though. Curb just finished, The Office, 30 Rock, Party Down got a second series, Hung, I like Modern Family, and I hear Community is pretty good too.

Plus Nurse Jackie has been picked up by the BBC for broadcast next year.

I'm still trying to finish Lost.

I just bought the boxset of Six feet under, hadnt seen any of it before, so it was obviously a gamble, but i watched the first disc and it looks brilliant. Reason i got it is the writer is Allan ball who wrote American beauty which is one of my fav movies.



Just watched first two seasons of Mad men, loved it.
