Top 10 timeless beats - your opinion ?

Hey guys and girls, time to stop toking up for a bit and time to start thinking back, as far as you can remember.

Firstly, no disrespecting anyone for their taste or lists in this thread. I just want to know what everyone's top ten beats are.

Any era, any genre, any band.

Might be hard to think about but I want some ideas for more songs to get, and I love classics, just not sure if I have all the ones I want.

So what I'm asking for, is your personal top 5 best songs, and top 5 best song beats (music rythm, tempo etc)

Anyone feel like sharing ?

Michael Jackson - Billie Jean
Michael Jackson - Beat It
Tupac - California Love

Those 3 come to mind right now.
You can play those beats/songs anywhere in the world, in any club or whatever and it'll get the crowd moving, cuz face it, they're classics.

Hey Sigh, thanks for you input, but I already gots those :wondering: and you forgot about "they don't really care about us" haha maybe you didnt, but you should have ;)

It's really hard to say what my top songs are, so its probably a bit unfair to ask it of you guys, but I'll try my luck...........

I'll throw some old oldies out there, like... Horse with no name, stairway to heaven, hotel california, africa - toto, Extreme - more than words, eric clapton - tears in heaven..... but they are classic classics, yeah I just made my own category of classics, hahah.

Can any of you rap maniacs still appreciate the softer oldies like that ?

More in with our times and to do with the beats rather than the songs on a whole is.. Luniz - I got five on it, warren G regulate, How high part 2 - method man, baby bash & frankie J - obsession, For shiz pacs stuff like California love n hit em up WESTSIDE TIL WE DIE YO, lol etc with those songs it wouldnt matter what the lyrics were to me, they just get me in a pumped state, thats what I mean by top 5 beats, rather than songs......cmon yo, I need your opinions............

cash brown "last man standing"/styles f/ pharoahe monch "the life"/tribeca "the life"--3 similar beats produced by ayatollah, and they are probably the best i have ever heard.

Amazing - Seal
Still Dre - Dr. Dre

michael jackson's billie jean without vocals isn't a "beat", it's an instrumental. i got confused by what you were actually asking for since your examples are pop/rock songs. i assume you're asking for songs that are of "classic" caliber that most people wouldn't have heard about, right?
