you've been sleeping if you havent checked it out yet, especially if you've heard "hip hop".

check out his mixtapes too. if you liked hip-hop there's different versions of them.

joell is one of my favourite active rappers so if you need to know anything, dont hesisitate to ask as im constantly following his career and releases etc...

i love the bio part 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the album.

on the mixtapes there is a part 5 and i think a part 6.

about a year ago i posted up joell ortiz "covering the classics" mixtape hosted by dj green lantern in the mixtape section (which i cant find now. i think it must have been deleted when moving the site to a new host). but anyway, check it out.

Covering the Classics was absolutely dope.

The Brick was nice, had some nice stuff on there, but it still sorta felt like a mixtape. I'm still waiting for Joell to release a proper full length album that's actually composed like an album.

imo, the brick is a horrible album, but a nice compilation of songs.

oh and Brooklyn Bullshit, is my shiyat right there

I remember Rukas used to bump that CD on repeat in his car when it came out. I got real sick of it. But it is dope.
