thoughts on the album?
we're getting soft, theres 34 pages of comments bout this on AllHipHop....

step our post game up!!

I give it a 8/10,

with what Hip-Hop looks like now, I think its fucking dope, the skits were pointless though, n' Budden basicaly only showed up for one verse, other than that, Joell Crook n royce killed it... (in that order)

im still gonna buy

this is the best album ive heard in a while, but i dont listen to a whole lot of music from this era....... honestly i like every song on the album, and thats something t havent been able to say since probably Makaveli or dre 2001.......

im not putting these guys on that level but its a great album....

I really hope this at least goes gold, but i dont know if it will because lack of radio/video exposure..... It was bon MTV Jams thev day it was released but i havent seen it on since but i dont have much time to watch anymore...... And bootlegging will of course have its effect

everyone that likes it dont download it for free or if ya do at least buy a copy.........

Support this one or we will probably never have another release from them with high profile producers or major (E1 is independent i think but semi-major) label....

I think this will be better quality music than anything Jay, 50, or Wayne release this year and it is better than Relapse, imo......

Im not a fan of those guys except Em but those are pretty much the biggest names in hip hop and i'd put Slaughterhouse against any albums from them this year......

honestly i was afraid of being let down because i was expecting it to be a classic but to my surprise it lived up to my expectation, but im sure some people dont feel the same.....

If you miss 90's quality hip hop as i do, this album fills that void

Honestly? I like only 3 or 4 songs on this album.
To me the production consists mostly of mediocre recycled beats, Royce totally destroys a few tracks (in a negative way) and actually only Joell and Joe Budden come up with some meaningful lyrics.

Rain Drops is my favorite track. Then there's Not Tonight and Onslaught 2. Cut me loose is quite okay.
Skits are absolutely stupid.

Maybe it'll grow on me more but I doubt that I'll love this album like most of you guys do.

So far I've slowly made my way up to track 11 and I havent really liked much of the album, other than a few verses here and there. The only track so far that I was kinda liking as a whole was Salute, possibly cuz of the great production and Monch on the hook. Who knows though, I gotta finish listening to it and re-listen to it atleast once before fully deciding whether I like it or not.

So far I've been feeling Joell more than anyone on the album

Yeah Salute is cool, best beat on the album IMO.
