Big fan of Count Bass D, another artist I grew fond of during my "fuck all this wack shit that's consistently coming out and killing hip-hop for me" era circa 2006 'til a few months ago.
His beats are absolutely brilliant and his style is one of a kind. Wish I was listening to him a lot earlier in my life but I'm glad I discovered him during that time where I didn't care for hp-hop any longer. It's artists like him that made me think "wow, I've been hella naive".
Count always seems like he spits the truth, regardless of how spaced out the songs originally come through the speakers.
Off topic, I once had a love making session with my lady listening only to the instrumental of JP Organ from Robbed Without a Pistol LP playing on continuous playback. The beat only goes for 1:20mins, I must of heard it some 40 times straight... insanity.
